I don't agree with Peggy. The problem here is that guy swimming, will expect the Coast Guard or someone to risk their safety, to come out and save him when he's in trouble.

Arrested for what? Being stupid? That would fill the jails to overflowing.

If a person is stupid enough to go into such danger after warnings, etc., the government, EMT's, or any one else has NO responsibility. If the idiot drowns or otherwise gets into trouble do to his/her actions, let him sink or swim or pray or whatever. Choice still exists. Some choose stupid.

This a slightly different issue. Yes, they use titles, but I don't think it is from respect. They would use "good old Bill" if it suited their purposes. They are trying to manipulate by using the higher term for Clinton, the less respectful term for Bush. Bias, bias, bias is the basis.

Man, I've sent them so many email bitching about it that I've given up. It was really frustrating during the the war, when the graphics often hid the action. Fox was lucky to have an reporter with the brigade that was first to make it into Baghdad, and then they cover up half of the action with banners.
