Jordan Says Israel Has No Religious Right to Jerusalem

(IsraelNN.com) Responding angrily to Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's United Nations General Assembly address, Jordan's Royal Committee for Jerusalem Affairs blasted both the address and the United Nations.

The official Jordanian body referred to Sharon's statements documenting the Jewish People's historic right to Jerusalem as untrue, calling it "full of lies and untruths," questioning how the international body permits a "war criminal" to make "false claims" regarding the holy city.

That's "Hashemite SCUM" according to the old generation of Saudis who ran their a$$e$ out of what is now Saudi Arabia.

Actually the Saudis are the old robber gang scum who ran off the rival Hashemite robber gang out of their turf with the help of the British, back in the 1920's. So the British, as a "consolation prize" gave the Hashemite 80% of what was originally set aside as the "Jewish Homeland.

Great way to measure the concessions from the world in giving up the "land for peace". They have away Gaza and are getting what? More hostility from Jordan about Jeruselam and u get 10,000 armed Hamas members, plus a massive arm shipment of heavy weapons from Egypt islamic jihad. I would say Israel should not give another inch away and if Bush wants to keep my respect, he should shut the hell up on the issue and stop pressuring Israel to commit suicide for our benefit.

"Remember, Jordan persecutes Christians as a matter of official policy and punishes land transfers to Jews with death. This is NOT a country the US should consider an ally.....unless you're one of the treasonous anti-Semites at State. Then you should go live there and endure what you apparently believe in."

I agree. However, I will say that having met Jordanians who live here now, they are one of the few mulsim people who WANT integration fully in becoming American and act like it.

The only people SHaron committed war crimes against are the settlers who were forcibly dragged out of their homes to make room for the enemy.

Jerusalem is mentioned over 800 times in the Jewish Bible. It is NOT mentioned once by name in the Koran. That ought to settle the question of religious rights in Jerusalem. The city has been the capital of every Jewish polity throughout history. It has never once been the capital of a non-Jewish nation.

And what "religious basis" do Muslims have to Jerusalem? Jerusalem is not mentioned EVEN ONCE in the unholy Koran. In contrast Jerusalem is central to the Torah and Holy Bible. David and Solomon ruled there, Jesus went on the cross there.

Hundreds of years after Mohammed died, Muslim conquerors invented the myth that Mohammed ascended to Allah's great bathhouse in the sky above Jerusalem. That's it! That's all that have to hang their turbans on. It is a joke, the mosques on the Temple Mount are nothing but symbols of former conquest. They are as out of place as were Soviet tanks in Prague.

doode,

the romans had problems dealing with the jews and jerusalem... this is documented by the romans both before and after christ.
the jews were out on ther periphery of the roman empire in a relatively unpopulated and marginal area. thus were not of any real interst to the romans.

the romans also documented the rise and fall of the philistines which are UNRELATED to the palestinians and THEIR play on words.

those muslime doodes? did not occur, not for another 800 years AD. their occupation was only by their expansionist warmongering program. the death cult at work.

for others to believe elsewise is pure and unadulterated PS.

I like your assessment of over 800 times in both the old and new testament.

Iwould bet you that if one addressed the talmud that yu wood find the jews were already there 1000 years b4 Christ.

Does anyone here know for sure and where is the support?

We are constantly hearing that "Al Aqsa mosque is Islam's third-holiest site."

How many people know that Hebron is Judaism's second-holiest site? Or that Bethlehem and Nazareth are Christianity's second and third holiest sites?

Can anyone name Judaism's third and fourth holy cities? (clue: they are not "disputed" or "occupied" or overrun with Muslims)

King David (God his rest his blessed soul) was king of Judah in Hevron and then led the United Kingdom of Israel from Jerusalem.

King Saul was un-anointed in Gilgal (site not definitely known today), and I Sam. 16 indicates David was chosen in or near Bethlehem.
