Radio announcers should be careful if they don't want to be fired for telling the truth about Islam.

Maya Lin was the Yale architecture student whose design was selected for the Vietnam veterans' memorial in the early 1980s. Lin's admitted intent was to make an anti-war statement.

That's why the statue of the three soldiers was added later. It toned down the pinko statement somewhat, although it still comes far short of the Iwo Jima memorial.

Libs just hate this country. What else can be said?

Mike will be okay. His show is wildly popular out here. I'm just surprised the Rocky ran the column.

"proposed 9/11 memorial at Ground Zero in New York is also mired in controversy over its hijacking by guilt-ridden, blame-America-first peaceniks who want to turn it into an oppressed people's museum, including exhibits and seminars on segregation in the U.S., mistreatment if Indians, and abuses of prisoners at Abu Ghraib (that's abuses by U.S. personnel, of course, not Saddam Hussein)."

NYNewsday conducted a poll on this issue with some interesting results.

Freedom Center backers say it will help people understand 9/11 sacrifices. Victims’ families say controversy surrounding the museum will dishonor the dead. Do you think it belongs at the WTC site?

1.3%
Yes, it will be a learning tool. (93 responses)

98.1%
No, the site should be used as a memorial only. (7278 responses)

0.7%
Not sure. (50 responses)

This article has so many buzzwords that I feel the need for a flyswatter: "blame-America-first", "Islamofascists", "Let's roll!", "World War IV". You don't need an education to read this, you need a codebook.

I'm just surprised the Rocky ran the column.

Oh, they pull this stuff to prolong the illusion that the RMN is the conservative balance to the DP, even though it's one big newspaper now, with two different names...

Libs are like the pandering frightened guy at work that comes home like a tyrant and beats his wife and kids.

I am going to remember that. This simile fits better than OJ's glove. (Or Jacko's, for that matter.)

Rosen targets his pieces to those with a reading level higher than yours.

We're in the early stages of this World War IV, not the end

When was WWIII?

Murdoch claims that the crescent connection was inadvertent, that his design is about "healing" and "contemplation."

If it was inadvertent, then why is it oriented towards Mecca?

The alignment with Mecca is about 1/2 of one degree.

Rosen targets his pieces to those who agree with him. He's a polemicist, not an essayist, and the language he uses is evidence of that.

The Cold War. Look how many millions of lives were lost in the fight between communism and democracy. Greece, Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Cuba, Argentina, and the Congo are just a few of the battlegrounds where this war was fought.

You consider Rosen's comments controversial.

We do not.

Rosen is not a polemicist. You are.

Rosen is a political commentator

Rosen targets his pieces to those who agree with him.

Obviously you've never listened to him.

He THRIVES on stubborn libs calling his show. He is at his absolute best when they call in, and the calls always end with bloody libs. He is very methodical in deconstructing their arguments, and usually does so with gusto.

He's a pleasure to listen to. Easily the best on-air debater.
