I'm sure. That's what makes these types of e-mails ring true because they do have a lot of truths in them.
I expect the percentages were a bit exaggerated. I saw plenty of interviews with a lot of well meaning individuals, single mothers, family members looking for their loved ones. But there were also the the punk-a$$ed mofos chunkin' gang sign in the background, the disgruntled ones, the perpetually mistreated. Still and all though, the rescue operation seemed to go fairly smoothly, and was a success mainly because they didn't stay for month after month.
I do resent it when mainly white people come to the rescue and then the jacksons and farrakhans start spouting the racist talk and then the po folks start talkin' racist too. That is insulting beyond measure.
