Mr. Liddy; I am watching a speech given by you, on the network C-Span. I must tell you that I am appalled by your comments. First and foremost, to argue that those who criticize our current administration, should go to somewhere such as North Korea, is simply absurd. To remark that those who criticize our current administration are no more intellectual than a "Half load of gravel" is simply irresponsible. I ask you, were you not worthy of being criticized for committing felonies and obstruction of our electorial system? Is criticizing an administration that lies to its constituents and falsifies validation for striking against a non-threatening nation, ludicrous and absurd? How dare you imply that I am "unpatriotic" because I oppose our involvement in Iraq? I surrendered my life on behalf of my nation and my nation's armed forces, and am only lucky to have survived. Have you ever considered that true support for our troops is to support bringing them home and away from harm? Isn't wishing for our young boys and girls to live without fear of death, dismemberment and trauma, a truer since of support? I used to respect your opinions. But if you are simply a shill for a duplicitious, secreitive, and manipulative administration, then I shall curse your opinions as being nothing more than the drivel that you contend to belong to those who oppose your views. You do not support democracy and thus, you should leave. You are a tyrant and you support neo-con tyrants and thus, you are no better than the tyrants who lead in North Korea, China and Russia. Better still, why don't you try to murder me as you murdered those who opposed the Nixon administration in the 1970's so that I can have you prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, as currently defined by your neo-con administration?

I always get such a kick out of this argument. America has the best trained, smartest, most fearsome military ever seen on this planet...and we should bring them home and wrap them in cotton, fgs. They are warriors, and much better equiped to avoid death than most of us by dealing it out to the other guy first. As is often said, but bears repeating, these are not boys and girls, they are men and women, really fine ones.
