OPEN LETTER TO CINDY SHEEHAN (Must Read)
Me | 9/26/05 | Me

Posted on 09/26/2005 6:39:53 PM PDT by Mom of Two Soldiers

OPEN LETTER TO CINDY SHEEHAN:

Residing in the same town as you once resided and knowing your family, I must ask you, "Whatever are you thinking?"

Your son was the one who encouraged my youngest son to enlist. You were very proud of Casey and what he was doing then and he believed very much in what he was doing.

After Casey was killed, my eldest was one of the local airmen who brought him home, facing hostile fire to do so, so you would not not have to wait.

My daughter comforted you and your family. You two spent hours and hours engaged in heartfelt grief. At that time, you were very, very supportive of the President, of our soldiers and of what was occurring in Iraq.

Cindy, you've changed since the Kerry campaign contacted you in early July of last summer. You're not the same grieving mom, especially after you started traveling on the road to support John Kerry's campaign.

You've turned into a political puppet for those who are exploiting you and its not pretty nor does it do anything for Casey's memory. You're not the same, quiet compassionate woman we saw at church or downtown, when you proudly sat as the entire town showed up on Memorial Day to honor Casey and Mike Williams.

How can you justify berating the President for honoring the soldiers who died while protecting America and following the directives of the Congress and the Senate? How can you consistently state that you don't want your son's name to be acknowledged by him and on the same hand, turn around and use the name of Joe Williams' Mike, as an example for your cause despite the many requests of the family for you not to do so? How could you print Mike's name in your anti-war advertisement in the newspaper even after seeing the grief and effort his mother went through to go to Crawford to personally remove it from your cross. You knew it caused them pain.

Mike died honorably and his father, a Vietnam vet is very proud of him. He believed in what he was doing, just like Casey. How could you bring so much pain to the Williams family and so much pain to a nation because of your own anger?

Cindy, how can you do this to your kids who don't know how to explain your actions to anyone here in town? They went through a lot last summer and still are.

The hours, days and weeks following Casey's death were emotionally gut wrenching as many of us with children, husbands, wives, friends and other loved ones in the military comforted you while living with the fears for our own loved ones over there. Everyone went above and beyond because we all believed and still believe in how very right, honorable and courageous our loved ones are in their mission to keep America safe.

We all went through considerable anguish when Casey died and I suspect none moreso than you. But how can you justify your anguish and place it on a higher level than that of Joe Williams?

The treatment you've returned to everyone is inexcusable. Placing Mike Williams' name on a cross despite the family's objections was unforgiveable and the reaction of Mike's mother when she saw it was heartbreaking.

What you are doing to neighbors, to friends, Casey's battle buddies and to a nation of people who are having to relieve the ugly pain of the late 60s and the 70s is unfair.

This is about you, Cindy. Not about anyone else. When you turn your back on your neighbors, your friends, your family and act in this manner, it only evidences that there is no consideration toward anyone or anything else.

Finally, and most disturbing, how can you support a group that supported John Kerry, who on April 7th, on National Public Radio stated that Al Sadr had a "legitimate voice" and that the Coalition (including your son) should not have closed down his newspaper after he called for the deaths of U.S. troops.

You know better than anyone else, Casey was killed in Sadr City by the Al Sadr militants. How can you join ranks with those who support the terrorist who called for the death of your son?

Its beyond me, Cindy, and something I suspect, someday in the future, you'll look back on and with considerable pain.

We don't want that for you. I believe you need to sit down and think about it long and hard. You are bringing so much pain to this nation and its people.

Linda

If there was ever any doubt about Cindy Sheehan's motives her arrest today solidified her true feelings. The utter JOY plastered all over her face as she was being carried away by the police was sickening!!!

I have never in my life seen anyone so utterly HAPPY to be arrested.

This is NOT about her grief or her son or any GOLD STAR parent ............this is about HER and only HER!!!!

Linda --

If you have not already done so, you should tell your story to Mark Levin. He hangs out here and posts occasionally. I think he would be interested, and might put your story on the air (I believe he is currently only on in NYC and Dallas, but his influence is tremendous).

As I mentioned in my previous post, I have mostly tried to turn away from this ghoulish display. But your story must be told, especially if the Kerry campaign were such moral vultures as to have sent a PR firm around to snatch up grieving mothers (shocking, yet not surprising).

My heart goes out to you and your community. And to Cindy.

I bet her behavior is the last thing her brave son wanted

I've often thought that very thing. Afterall, he ENLISTED so he was a professional soldier, not some unfortunate draftee. These nutso so-called protestors seem to have forgotten that we have a volunteer, professional military.

The question I've been wanting to ask for weeks is what Cindy was like before her son was killed -- was she the same rabid liberal we see today? I'm skeptical about any of the "anti-war" people we see her with -- I honestly think they're more anti-anything-a-Conservative-does and pro-anything-a-Marxist-does. I'm dying to know if she had the same beliefs beforehand (and is using her son's death to promote them), or if Casey's death sent her over the deep end and her new friends are exploiting her. Was she actually pro-war before (like Joe Lieberman)?

Mean while here is the latest screed from Cindy:

Monday, September 26th, 2005
My First Time

A message from Cindy Sheehan

The rumors are true this time. I was arrested in front of the White House today. It was my first time ever being arrested.

We proceeded from Lafayette Park to the Guard House at the White House. I, my sister, and other Gold Star Families for Peace members and some Military Families requested to meet with the President again. We again wanted to know: What is the Noble Cause? Our request was, to our immense shock and surprise, denied. They wouldn't even deliver any letters or pictures of our killed loved ones to the White House.

We all know by now why George won't meet with parents of the soldiers he has killed who disagree with him. First of all, he hates it when people disagree with him. I am not so sure he hates it as much as he is in denial that it even happens. Secondly, he is a coward who arrogantly refuses to meet with the people who pay his salary. Maybe the next time one of us is asked by our bosses to have a performance review, or we are told we are going to be written up for a workplace infraction, we should refuse to go and talk to our bosses citing the fact that the President doesn't have to. The third reason why he won't talk to us is that he knows there is no Noble Cause for the invasion and continued occupation of Iraq. It is a question that has no true answer.

After we were refused a meeting with the Disconnected One, we went over to right in front of our house, the White House, (in front of the gate of course) and we sat down and refused to move until George came out and talked to us. We actually had a good time singing old church songs and old protest songs while we waited. I tied a picture of Casey on the White House fence and apparently, that is against the law, too.

After three warnings to get up and move off of the sidewalk in front of our house, we were arrested. It is so ironic to me that the person who resides in our White House swears to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. The person who is the (p)resident of the White House now has no concept of the Constitution. He was appointed by the Supreme Court for his first term, invaded and continues to occupy a sovereign country without a declaration of war from the Congress, and violated several treaties to actually invade Iraq, too. Not to mention the condoned torture that pervades the military prisons these days. These are all violations of the Constitution. The Patriot Act and denying us our rights to peaceably assemble are serious breaches of the Bill of Rights. George is so hypocritically concerned about Iraq developing a Constitution while he ignores and shreds our own Constitution.

Being arrested is not a big deal. Even though we were arrested for "demonstrating without a permit" we were protesting something that is much more serious than sitting on a sidewalk: the tragic and needless deaths of tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis and Americans (both in Iraq and here in America) who would be alive if it weren't for the criminals who reside in and work in the White House.

Karl Rove (besides just being a very creepy man) outed a CIA agent and was responsible for endangering many of our covert agents worldwide. Dick Cheney's old company is reaping profits beyond anyone's wildest imaginations in their no-bid contracts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and New Orleans. John Negroponte's activities in South America are very shady and murderous. Rumsfeld and Gonzales are responsible for illegal and immoral authorization, encouragement and approval of torture. Not to mention, violating Geneva Conventions, torture endangers the lives of our service men and women in Iraq. Along with the above mentioned traitors, Condi lied through her teeth in the insane run-up to the invasion. The list of crimes this administration has committed is extensive, abhorrent, and unbelievable. What is so unbelievable is that WE were arrested for exercising our first amendment rights and these people are running free to enjoy their lives of crime and to wreak havoc on the world.

The fine for "demonstrating without a permit" is $75.00. I am certain that I won't pay it. My court date is November 16th. Any lawyers out there want to help me challenge an unconstitutional law?

The Suicide idea sounds reasonable; oh, God, I hope that does not happen. If she sees how she's been used she always has millions of arms waiting to welcome her back into the fold of patriots who believe in fighting tyranny.

I hope that she sees how the liberals USE people as political pawns, and sees it soon.

If she asks people for forgiveness, do you doubt that one conservative will be less than gracious?

Anyone who thinks Hanoi Kerry isn't behind the anti war crowd needs to get a clue.

How to spot the "Move On FReepers"
The tried and true easy way to spot
the real trolls on FR

Read my tagline and look for the Move On "FReepers"

1) Who don't care what hanoi kerry is up to.

2) Or believe that hanoi kerry is behind the anti-war movement.

3) "Swear" that hanoi kerry is finished
and everyone should "get over it" while
anyone who knows hanoi kerry
knows he and hanoi jane
are behind the current lies
and anti-war movement now,
just as they were in the 60's and 70's.

4) Refuse to uphold
U.S. Constitution Amendment 14 Sec 3
http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.amendmentxiv.html
and condone the traitor remain in the US Senate.

5) They "swore" klintoon, hitlery, hanoi kerry, sanbdi ber(bur)glar, al bore, jane beno,
wouild be prosecuted for
pardongate, chinagate, the bribes in upstate NY in the 2000 NY Senate race, waco, etc, etc,
"when" the "time was right".

6) Become irrational in their posts when
confronted with real facts.

Crowley: Long Run (Someone Tell Kerry He Can Stop Running For President)

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1490273/posts

In college speech,
Kerry upbraids Bush administration
Tests waters for presidential run

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1488280/posts

Karl Rove knew, Nov. 7, 2004 , that hanoi kerry would try to run in '08
and knew Swift Boat Vet's would be called upon,
again, to serve our country.

Rove Credits Swiftvets With 'Energizing' Bush Vote (Thank You Karl Rove!)

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1345603/posts

Why are the "Move On FReepers" so careful NOT to attack hanoi kerry
head on and refuse to join in the demand to oust the traitor from the US Senate?

The "Move On FReepers" are going to hate Judge John Roberts

"If the Constitution says that the little guy should win,
the little guy's going to win in court before me.
But if the Constitution says that the big guy should win, well,
then the big guy's going to win,
because my obligation is to the Constitution. That's the oath," he said.

Judge John Roberts 09/15/05

U.S. Constitution Amendment 14 Sec 3
http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.amendmentxiv.html

AND the FBI has proof.

Hanoi Kerry Timeline of a traitor
includes FBI files

http://www.archive-news.net/Kerry/JK_timeline.html

So when you spot a "Move On FReeper"
(really there is only a very tiny minority of them FR)
learn to watch what you say to "them".

They will screech and howl when you corner them with the truth.

One shouldn't use the dead as a prop for a political argument. They deserve to be respected for how they lived their lives and allowed to rest in peace. Any parent owes that much to their child just as a child owes it to a parent they lost. I know all about losing loved ones. If I could, I'd give up everything I have to have them back. Since I can't, I must submit to the judgment of God. It is time for Cindy Sheehan to now do the same for her son.

Who writes this garbage for Crazy Cindy? She is somebody's stooge, no doubt about it.

If she is too ignorant to understand that what we are doing in Iraq is quite a noble cause, not to mention important to our national security in the big picture, there is no hope for her. She is dumb as a post; no, acutally, a post would have the higher IQ.
