Being under the influence can be used as an excuse to an *extent*. You don't know this? It's happened a million times in an *attempt* to reduce penalties. How would a juror look at a defendent that robbed a store and punched his wife when he was drunk or on drugs, as opposed to a defendent that did the same thing while completely stone sober. Hello? It matters."That's silly".
I rest my case...Again.

Stop weaseling. Either you have proof that police knew right away that the lady gave her captor meth or you don't. Did they drug test him right away when they caught up with him? You don't know. You're just trying to change the subject because you know good and darned well you can't prove your little fantasy. Prove your baseless claim or shut up.

Are you ready to prove your baseless claims or are you just going to keep weaseling? Again, either you have proof that police knew right away that the lady gave her captor meth or you don't. Did Nichols tell the police when they caught him that she gave him meth? Did they drug test him right away as you seem to think they surely did? Quit trying to weasel out of answering these questions. Put up or shut up. Let's see some proof.

Did Nichols tell the police when they caught him that she gave him meth? Lets see, he just brutally killed a judge, and several other people in the area. Why would he keep something as trivial as using drugs a secret after murdering people? There is no honor among thieves. No doubt he ratted her out on his first interview. Let me guess, you think this was an honorable guy right? Your a defense attorney. Do you think they searched that apartment? Well if you don't know, I'll tell you. After he was in custody, they searched every square inch of that place, looking for that relationship/connection and you can bet they found at bare minimum, traces of meth. I not only believe the suspect told them, I believe she did too when confronted.

And if it didn't happen the way I just described, they weren't doing their job. I am telling you, when they went in to that apartment, they found at minimum, traces of meth or obvious evidence of use. The gig was up almost immediately as far as the drug issue. Otherwise, they just didn't do their job.

I think they knew she was a methhead but wanted to sell the public on a feelgood story.

Average rehab time for meth is 3-4 years. Not many get off that horrid stuff...and the chemicals in it literally eat the person alive.
