I listened to McCain's interview on Hannity's radio show today. Despite the cordiality between the two, I could detect a little edge in McCain's voice. I wonder if McCain is on some kind of medication that keeps him from completely wigging out.
My goodness, McLame was fooled by Cindy Sheehan. McLame needs better handlers. The libs have been playing him like a fiddle and he still doesn't get it.
I worked with some of the VietNam POWs. These guys gave their all for our country. In fact, they and their FAMILIES gave their all for this country. Most of them have kept a low profile since their return in 1973. EVERY SINGLE ONE of them is a genuine American hero. We don't have to agree with their political views - but we are DUTY-BOUND to honor their service. For G-d's sake, give them the medication they require.
Now I wonder if he still thinks the President should meet with her?

Isn't it amazing that the members of the US Senate including McCain, Kennedy, Murray, Landreau, Clinton, Reid, Biden, Franken (oops, scratch that, he hasn't been elected yet has he?), Leahy, and a few others, who do have the power to control the direction of our country, have absolutely no agenda other than what's best for America? sarc/off...............

McCain should have more sense. He's playing the game of the Cindy Sheehan PR machine. He doesn't have to meet with every whacko who comes along, any more than President Bush does. Let the Democrat's feed this woman's dementia.

I heard it also. He sounded angry [in that McCain "Can't we all get along" sickening way he has about him]. HE said he received a letter from Cindy which mentioned friends who were Arizona Constiutents. When Cindy got there, she was no accompained by anyone from Arizona.
I may not have it exactly right, but it sounded like she used false pretenses to get a meeting with him.
People - get a grip. Yes, there are some media whores here. Let's not tar a population of 200+ folks with the misdeeds of a few. Arizonans - over to you to take care of your Senatorial challenges.
