she cannot have any chance at winning without moving the hispanic vote. the african american vote is locked up, they do not need Obama.

Nobody is seriously promoting Obama because of what they think he'll do with the black vote. Their hope is that he has crossover appeal and can draw in independents, disaffected liberals, maybe even a few conservatives dazzled by his rhetoric.

you will get the usual anti-Rudy RINO stuff coming in here.

I am still predicting the Allen/Rudy ticket for 2008. But when the onion is peeled back, I think Allen is going to be shown as being tolerant of abortion for adult women in the first 10 weeks. not sure what the single issue pro-lifers are going to say about that.

What's the W mean on your tunic?

Don't be so oblique. Say what you intend to say.

You knew this was going to happen ever since the MSM annointed him as Savior.

Obama is a big zero, what has he ever done ?

Obama would not add one single vote to the Democratic ticket in 2008.

After all, anyone who would vote for Obama in 2008 is already voting Democrat, 100-percent if not more, considering the power structure in Chicago and Illinois.

In fact, I see an Obama VP nomination as beneficial to the Republicans as thousands of moderate sensible Democrats would more likely flee to the GOP rather than see their party openly turned into a race-fest.

I'd like to believe that, but I'm too cynical. I wish I had your faith and optimism.

The Hildabeast and Obaloney, the end of the world as I know and knew it.

No idea. Everybody thinks I took this moniker from a character in a Stephen King story, or some comic book, or the like, but the only thing I know about my namesake is that he was an urban legend in 1830s London who used to run around leaping 10-foot fences, pinching girls' bottoms, and now and again breathing fire just for creeps. And that I learned from one of those Readers' Digest compilation books called "Strange Mysteries of the World" or some such. Devoured it as a kid.

He's not going to do it. He has a bright future in the democrat party and I think he's too smart to run as second man to Hillary.

"Cheney's heart condition rules him out..."

Given what the demonRATS have to offer, the majority of Americans would rather have an honorable man, with a 'possible' medical condition as long as he has a 'rock solid' VP on the ticket like - Rice. So, the winning ticket is; Cheney/Rice2008

The Dems under Clinton have a history of pi$$ing all over their Black supporters. Obama would do well to steer clear of this "opportunity".

....linking Senator Hillary Clinton to one of her party’s most appealing new stars amounted to a match made in political heaven.

LMAO!!!
That scumbag Obama is one of the few Democrats who could actually make Hillary Clinton look less sleazy!

"Obama has never been vetted by the MSM."

Oh, yes he has.

"He is and out an out socialist."

And they know that.

They just don't want anybody else to know.

Oh, I don't know. It may be pretty easy to say, "my family has always voted democrat". Then, you don't have to do much thinking, or much work, finding out what the real issues are and what the real outcome would be. You might even have to look in the mirror and say, "maybe I/they were wrong, or the party has changed".

You've got that right! Lucky for us, I don't think they'd have a snowball's chance in hell.

I fear they do have a chance.........

My fear is that the blue bloods in the Republican Party will have control and will nominate someone "respectable" ...

Bob Dole in '08!

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the Dems went all out to get Obama into the Senate

The Democrats didn't have to go all out to get Obama elected, because the Republicans capitulated the seat.
