I hope Rush actually at least shows some skepticism. Sometimes he's right on but other times he seems too interested in supporting Bush to actually criticize him. Other times he has no problem.

And I say that as a fan!

No, he wont. I have listened to Limbaugh for as long as he has been on Radio. If he supports this nomination, then it is cold today in Hell.

Rush won`t overreact.

But I`m guessing an undercurrent of disappointment in his voice today, and all week.

Me too.

RUSH, how could the President walk past so many qualified KNOWN conservative judges for a political friend? Has the President truely lost due North? I think he may be totally shell-shocked from all the hits, hurricanes, Delay, the Plame b.s....is this the end of the conservative part of his term?

Rush will probably keep his head, but I'm sure he will also register extreme disappointment. I'm not sure what a "BB" is, but Rush is certainly no Whitehouse stooge. He was here before Bush, and he'll be here after him.

I am predicting an "exasperated" Rush...with a lot of "I don't knows" in his take on Miers...

He may even spend less time on that....and more time on some of the shenanigans on the Sunday Talk shows...and I THINK I read that he is supposed to have Delay on his show today...

Will you eat your mouse if you are wrong? He will oppose the nominee either outright or with unveiled mockery and humor.

I think Rush will hit it down the middle today, fading it a little to the right. No endorsement for Miers!

Liar.

If you wish to make an accusation like that you had damn well have the proof to back it up.

If I'm to hazard a guess, his reaction will be more calming than the hysterics about here but there will be disappointment.

"Rush is a BB that get direction fro the WH daily briefing. He will be in full support."

I take it when you say "BB" ... you are using your lefty-lingo and saying "Bush-Bot". You are wrong. You are ignorant to Rush's show. Rush often disagree's with President Bush, such Big Spending, Border Issues. If Rush agrees with the pick, it is because it is his belief, not because is is a "BB".

Hopefully he won't whine like a baby, he will be disappointed because we don't have the wanted battle.

But he will realize that the battle can still be fought, because we don't give up, our enemies are still our enemies.

1) I've never known Rush to whine like a baby.

2) Rush never gives up.

3) Any disappointment registered would not be because there is no battle from the Left. Just as my disappointment is not because the Left isn't foaming.

Sorry, you don't just pick fights to pick fights. It's dumb strategy. Washington didn't believe in that; neither did Reagan. You strategerize to WIN, not to pick fights. It's immature of Rush to say this.

Rush- Hard to resist pull to be angry..or depressed...but doesn't know where he'll ultimately land on this.

Reasons why: believes it was made from a point of weakness.

-Knows nothing about her
-President's opponents praise offer red flag
-possibility giant rope a dope (he knows her well, we don't)

Main reason dislikes it is because it makes it look as though he appeased the Democrats.

caveat- Don't know this woman. Could be fabulous, doesn't know. Why take the risk? Trust the President. Want to trust.

A lot of us feel we're in a genuine war with left wing, direction of the country at stake.

Rush has been turned off my radio once again.

When he's positive, he's good.

When he started off by saving that it's hard not to be "pulled" to the criticism of this nominee.....that was all I needed to hear.

I actually had a little hope that Rush wasn't so influenced by others, but I was wrong.

Rush will take the same tack that Levin has, since he relies on Levin for guidance in matters like this.

Levin has already said he is skeptical, therefore Rush will also be.

Probably the worst thing about her nomination so far is the glowing comments from Dusty Harry.Huge point of worry there.
There is no doubt we are at war with the rats. They have no agenda at all except destroying us. They could care less about the country.

Rush is hedging. He wants to come out swinging, but . . .

I wonder how Rush would be responding to this pick if she has been nominated by a (hypothetical) conservative Democrat.

Rush: Makes Bush look like he is nominating "from a position of weakness."

Only takes 50 to change the filibuster rules. They SHOULD be changed. The rats shouldn't be blocking these with a minority, and the pubs shouldn't do it if it ever comes to that. In fact, I doubt the pubs ever will because they lack the killer instinct.

Not trying to be mean or disrespectful to the President, but I wonder if the First Lady had a say in this one?

Then you still need 50 conservative Senators. Which is currently not there.
