About 30,000 gays and lesbians flock to Disney venues to celebrate the eighth annual Gay Days event.
ANAHEIM La Habra resident Kevyn McCall feels a tad uncomfortable holding hands or linking arms with a man during monthly trips to Disneyland.

I believe it is in June at Disney World. Check before making plans.
Disney has been allowing this for years. Walt Disney would have turned over in his grave if he knew this was happening. The gay community took it upon themselves to set this up without Disney's permission and Disney has allowed this for years and years. To Disney its all about the almighty dollar I guess!
My kids ask, but I will never grace one of their parks. I don't even let my kids watch the Disney channels since they have shows that portray parents as bumbling fools and the kids are "hip-hop stylin'" dis-respectors.
What's in your stocking, billy?
ping
What a perfect excuse to SELL YOUR DISNEY STOCK!!!
Welcome to gay day at Disney. Please enter through the back door...
I just got back from DW in Orlando. I spent time in the DC on the 24th with the remnants of the antiAmerica brigades... If I got to DW after that interesting experience, and it was fag, week I would have rented a car and driven it into the sea.
P.S. "God made Adam & Eve...not Adam & Steve!"
I contacted Disney about this last year, and they replied that there was nothing they could do. they said that Disney doesn't have a "Gay days", the gay groups do. Disney cannot refuse to let them in because they are gay, so what would I have them do ?
it's a pretty frustrating situation all around.
:-O Watch out! That comment vaguely smacked of Creationism!
Monthly? Geez, grow up and get a life.
I thought gay people only wanted to be accepted for who they are and not be in your face about their homosexuality?
Oh wait, that's the lie they told in the 70s. The lie they told in the 80s is that AIDS is everyone's disease.
The lie they told in the 90s is they would NEVER target children for their sick lifestyle.
What will be the next gay lie?
Did you ask them about the gay day where two gay men engaged in sex in front of Dumbo, and security cameras caught the whole thing on tape? Hannity & Colmes featured that when it happened.
ya know ..
not wearing pants and all
OMG, I thought I was the only Dad that felt that way. Parents are protrayed as complete morons on most Disney shows. I love to piss off my teenage daughters by telling them,"You are not Lizzy McGuire and I am not fooled by what you are doing. Look at me when you talk to me. There is no camera so stop mumbling to the audience."
I have a level of grounding I call "Total Electronic Withdrawal". If it uses electrons to do anything but produce photons of light, you may not use it for the next week.
Later H.A. pingout.
Or a room, at the least.
Why, is Rosie attending?
Methinks he'd be a tad more comfortable at Neverland Ranch.
Look at the movies. The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, among others show kids disrespecting their parents.
Yes, the cone of silence has served us well for many years.
Disney hasn't been "allowing" anything. There is absolutely NOTHING they can do about it. They can't confiscate anyone's homosexual credentials at the gate. There is nothing illlegal about two men walking arm in arm.
Disney is no doubt grateful that no one has declared Gay Day on Christmas or something, because they couldn't stop it if they did.
On the otherhand, Disney DOES sponsor "A Night Of Joy" every year. They close the parks early for it. It is a night of Christian music and performers.

You don't want to be in the parks on Gay Day? I can certainly understand that. Get on the Internet and find out when it is so you aren't there that day.
But get off Disney's back about it because you are only making decent people look bad.
And speaking of which, I wish the Youth Groups would better supervise their kids when they bring them to the parks for Night of Joy because they are also making Christians look bad:

I would recommend that everybody go to Busch Gardens and Sea World in Florida rather than Disney World. They are very military friendly. My Daughter, Granddaughter and Son-in-law are there now. They received free admission to both parks as well as a 20% discount on all food and beverages. They also had a tribute to the military at Sea World, had all GI's and dependents in the audience stand up and receive a round of applause. I've been to Disney World twice but the next time I go to Florida I'm going to Busch Bardens and Sea World.
See my post 27.
Whne I clicked on the link, I found that it is one of these OBNOXIOUS publications that requires you to register to read the content. (I only do that for a few necessary publications, and I almost always lie on their demographic questions--they deserve it!!!!) However, I know enough about this issue to comment.
Disney, like many multinationals, is in cahoots with the New World Order. Part of the NWO agenda is to push the "gay issue" down our throats, as part of "diversity". This is all meant to undermine the family, the church, and the nation-state, and leave only the globalist superstate and the multinational corporation.
The "gaying" of Disneyland and Disney World, etc. is totally contrary to the ethos of the original Disney, which provided wholesome, family-friendly entertainment and just plain fun. The sullen resentment--and in a few cases, outright antagonism--that many people feel for the "new" Disney is the result. Disney might do better business-wise if it returned to its roots.
I struggle with Disney on this one. At first, my response is total anger and disgust that "Gay Days" are even allowed at Disney theme parks, especially when those who grace their parks on those given days tend to flaunt T-Shirts and other murchandise that are sexually explicit in nature. Disney attracts a majority of family oriented people, families with younger children and I don't see how it should even be allowed that such things go on. Yet on the other hand, I see and understand Disney's legal problem on this one. Now I don't know facts on this, but if Disney itself doesn't have a specified "Gay Day" then I'd have to say there's not a whole ton they can really do about it, short of perhaps stepping up their rules a bit. If they do indeed have a scheduled "Gay Day" just for Gay pride than to them I say shame and it disappoints me greatly. I believe Disney's just probably afraid of controversy but if they really intended to take action against this they could crack down a little harder on dress codes (No gay pride shirts, none with any sexual or crude comments written on them or printed in picture on them, etc) and then better monitor behaviors inside of the theme parks. If a security camera caught the two males being intimate with one another than it should have been stopped in mere minutes if not mere moments after they got started. That kind of stuff should not be tolerated AT ALL!
Disney World is a freakin' rip off to boot. The place should be renamed "Gouge Land." They charge like $7 for a Coke and $10 for a cheeseburger.
May be the most overratted place to visit in the history of the US.
PS - Eisner is a flaming liberal, but now he's gone. Good riddance, Michael.
Notice how the kids in those movies pay the price for thier disrespect.
I love Disney (yes I need a life) and make sure to check the calendar carefully when visiting.
See my post #26.
I took my wife and two-year-old there four years ago.
Never again (if I can manage it). I look forward to the day my children are old enough to enjoy our National Parks and hope they'll forget about a crowded gouge-fest.
Depends on where in Disney you go to eat. If you're clammering for the higher up places there than yeah you spend a pretty penny for a simple meal, but it's also pretty well priced in other respects and in some of the other places down there in the theme parks. It's a little more expensive than say Burger King, but hey, you ask for that when you go on vacation to Disney, plus you're getting better quality in my estimation. I think perhaps Disney might see a downfall of people due to this whole "Gay Day" issue. Perhaps not.
Hold on there. Nemo is a wonderful movie--the father caring for his son, the son learning how much he needs his dad. I wholeheartedly endorse Nemo...and The Incredibles, for that matter. < \soapbox>
Howard Johnson hotels is a Sponsor.
Tylenol PM is a "premier sponsor". I'll avoid the crude jokes that are REALLY difficult to avoid about that one.
Disney has done the same things for the Military. Last year they held a big Military reunion on property in Orlando. Also one on the hotels on property caters to Military only.
And speaking of parade, what type of entertainment is going on inside this Disney park?
So does Universal, Sea World, Bush Gardens, Six Flags, and everyother theme park in the country. Actually I have been to city and state fairs where the refreshements were more expensive then at Disney.

Come on over to Dithney, Boyth! It'th jutht thwell!
My daughter asked if Disney offered a discount and was told they didn't. I know that they were able to buy discounted tickets about 7 years ago but I think they had to get them through the military.
They were able to last year as well. Disney doesn't offer the discounts all the time true and niether does the other parks. Its called buseiness they offer them for so long as marketing ploys. I have see Disney do alot towards supporting the troops in the last 3 years since I have been down here in Orlando.
I'm not going to stop going to Disneyland just because on one day of the year gays take over. I would expect however, Disney to have better security and judgement since they are in the business of children.
IMO, there is no comparison between Busch Gardens/Sea World and WDW with regard to the U.S. military. BG and Sea World have been giving free admittance for years now to military members and their dependents. The "free" Disney promo for military personnel (only) came and went a few years ago. BG and Sea World truly honor military members and their families.
Shades of Green at WDW isn't owned by Disney. The DoD runs and operates it. Any "profits" go to improvements to the property.
Gay Days is a week long parade, btw. Most people just avoid going that week.
Please don't struggle with this at all.
Sit back, close your eyes, and imagine Disney having "Straight Day"...........
