Who is Joel Hinrichs?

Keeping an eye on the story...

***

The story was broken by KOCO 5 at Channel Oklahoma.com.

Flopping Aces reports: "Apparently the local CBS affiliate in OKC had a report that Hinrichs has been known to visit the local Islamic center around the corner from his apartment..."

The economy is clearly important, but I don't know if they were just trying to stop panic. I know nothing about what Geraldo has done. I just got back from out of town and was out of the loop on this story. Someone else is going to have to come up with some of the answers on this one.

And for the disbelievers out there, former CIA Director James Woolsey endorses Janya's research and says that when the world knows the truth about OKC, they will owe her a debt of gratitude.

And Dave Schippers totally supports her. Jayna has been telling me for some time that there is still a cell in OKC, and she is worried about it. Earlier in the year, we discussed action that needed to be taken about something she discovered in the Northeast. She took action, talked to the right people, and might have prevented a bombing. If she wants to talk about that, I'll let her do it.

Sure thing Peach... I don't know at this point how exactly how long it will take to finish - so many dots to connect and verify. Hopefully I can get some real work done tonight now that my kids are in bed and it's quiet. (o:

If anyone else would like to be notified when I finish please freepmail me.

I am sad when I see African-Americans mixed up in this Muslim terror. However, it is a factor I have noticed, but it is not PC to mention it, apparently.

It's interesting that this guys' backpack detonated prematurely. Looks like God was watching over us.

My guess is that God is going to keep out of this one. I think our side really benefits from the overall ineptness of our enemy.

My thought is that it is the FBI who is trying to keep the lid on this. The local news media states that they have more info but can't comment as no-one will go "on record". Boren eluded to some of this in his "Open Letter" written yesterday evening. He stated that when it was obvious the authorities weren't going to issue a press release he decided to do so to inform the students even though he knew it would upset them.

As far as why... it has been said that details were not forthcoming due to an ongoing investigation. Hopefully this means they may have agents in place, or other information and don't want to scare suspects and "people of interest" off. I have to say if the intent is to shut the story up completely or try to say this guy had NOTHING to do with terrorists they are going to have a hard time doing so...

That's not news reporting, that is a press that has been muzzled. They can report off the record! They do as a matter of policy....Unnamed sources say....blah,blah...etc.

Now for some reason it has to be on the record? Smirk......:-)

Maybe the FBI plans to infiltrate, spy on the mosque and whoever attends, and if the real truth gets out, terrorists would panic and scatter, perhaps getting clean away.

9-11 would have been written off as a bad aircraft accident, except for that 2nd plane, and 3rd plane, and 4th plane. Those made it difficult to pass off another terrorist attack as just an accident.

You mean like TWA-800?

The Dallas Morning News profiles Hinrichs--a student with "a history of emotional problems."

In other words, he was a MUSLIM EXTREMIST.

OKC-911 CONNECTION ALERT. Please let me know by freepmail if you want to be put on or taken off this list. Thanks.

Pinglist folks, keep an eye on dougfromupland's posts today. Jayna Davis may have more info on the Oklahoma University bombing as it relates to Moussaui and the Norman Islamic cell.

I still can't figure out why they didn't shout it (the 911-OKC connection) from the rooftops instead of sending Powell to the UN with that little bottle of anthrax.

Seems they wasted so much political leverage over Iraq by their silence.

What was it Louis Fara-con said recently? Bush blew up a levee to flood the poor areas of NOLA? What was his religion again? Oh yeah....

Cicero, I couldn't agree more. We just spoke with some acquaintances in OKC and they refuse to believe anything other than the Koolaid being served by Boren and the FBI.

They seem to be the sort of folks who just can't face dark facts, I know this from this Schiavo case.

The government is doing a disservice to the people when it doesn't tell the truth about these instances. And OU enrollment and football game attendance be damned!

I owe everyone an apology on this thread. I put up No. 18 after stumbling upon it. I scanned the article, it had a few sentences that looked intereresting, so I added it to the thread. Apparently, it also had a lot of nonsense, and I guess I should have paid more attention and read the while thing. A lesson was learned. Sorry.

"After Tom Ridge played the color coded cha-cha every week, now that we have a credible threat, nothing!"

Actually starting last Thursday, Fox News in its trailer at the bottom of the screen noted that the Terrorist Threat level had been raised but there was no explanation.

My wife and I were on vacation last week, and I turned on Fox News in the late afternoon on Thursday and saw the banner with the note. We never found out why.

However, according to Phi Kap Mom, there was an increase of security precautions at the stadium which would indicate a reaction to a warning or the increase in the threat level.
