730pm EDT update. Hinrichs reportedly tried to buy ammonium nitrate. Gateway Pundit Jim Hoft has details.
The story was broken by KOCO 5 at Channel Oklahoma.com.
Flopping Aces reports: "Apparently the local CBS affiliate in OKC had a report that Hinrichs has been known to visit the local Islamic center around the corner from his apartment..."

Cicero, I couldn't agree more. We just spoke with some acquaintances in OKC and they refuse to believe anything other than the Koolaid being served by Boren and the FBI.
They seem to be the sort of folks who just can't face dark facts, I know this from this Schiavo case.
The government is doing a disservice to the people when it doesn't tell the truth about these instances. And OU enrollment and football game attendance be damned!

I owe everyone an apology on this thread. I put up No. 18 after stumbling upon it. I scanned the article, it had a few sentences that looked intereresting, so I added it to the thread. Apparently, it also had a lot of nonsense, and I guess I should have paid more attention and read the while thing. A lesson was learned. Sorry.

Actually starting last Thursday, Fox News in its trailer at the bottom of the screen noted that the Terrorist Threat level had been raised but there was no explanation.
My wife and I were on vacation last week, and I turned on Fox News in the late afternoon on Thursday and saw the banner with the note. We never found out why.
However, according to Phi Kap Mom, there was an increase of security precautions at the stadium which would indicate a reaction to a warning or the increase in the threat level.
