I think it has spread, though. I just learned about Phelps today (interesting story), but have seen those signs with no mention of Westboro. The odd thing about people like Phelps is that they simply do not understand politics. They attack everyone but don't realize that's a complete waste of time because no political cause is being advanced.
The homo-promo lobby knows full well that those signs make them look like victims. I'd bet you $1,000,000 that the gays put them up themselves...

A repeat of last years evangelizing at the Outfest is just asking for trouble.
Yes, when faced with groteque evil parading in your streets, simply ignore it or hide under your bed. That's the best course of action to take.
