Don't worry. The France family will eventually kill NASCAR. With the changes and apparent move to relocate every race outside of the South, they will lose their fan base before it's all over

Marketing. The racing is secondary.

With drivers saying stuff like, "The Home-Depot, Ace Hardware, Napa Auto Parts, Mountain Dew, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Commerce Bank, Bell South, Vavoline Motor Oil Chevrolet ran great today", how could you possibly think NASCAR was not about racing?
Yea, go figure.

Ok, we don't see it the same way. NASCAR said that it wasn't technically a rules violation. If they want to end these kinds of things, just have a range of acceptable height instead of a maximum.....It was only off by a very minute amount, and it did settle to the proper height. Maybe when they checked it before the race, it was right. Maybe it raised up during the race because of heat expansion. I see and respect your point of view. This is just my take on it.

Marketing. The racing is secondary. Yeah right. All those fans will be there today to watch 40+ brand names circling a track for 3+ hours.
I wonder if Lowes will beat HomeDepot today?
You've got it backwards, Racing is marketing the Products.
