I sent this to my 12-yr. old grandson with instructions to read once, save, and ask me questions. He was selected as a Johns Hopkins nominee and will have to take the SAT's in December.
I grew up in the Reagan era, and I never had much of an appreciation for this until I got out into the world. That's when every political conversation my Dad had with me became clear and Reagan actually made sense to me. It was too bad I didn't appreciate the incredible man he was until after he was out of office.
Best wishes to a bright future for your grandson. Keep on showing him things like this, even if you think he's not interested. He will appreciate it later on!
