No evidence suggests that the deadly earthquake that rocked Pakistan on Saturday injured or killed the world's top terror leader, Osama bin Laden.
The quake shook the border region of Afghanistan and Pakistan, where bin Laden is believed to be hiding. However, authorities at this point have no information indicating he's been injured or killed, said a U.S. official who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the information's sensitivity.
Bin Laden guided the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks aimed at New York City and Washington.
Hopes for bin Laden's death or capture were high in December 2001, when U.S. and Afghan troops surrounded a cave complex sheltering al-Qaida members in Afghanistan's Tora Bora region. But bin Laden escaped and is now believed to be living a relatively isolated existence to evade capture.
He was last seen publicly on a videotaped message before the November 2004 elections.
The public face of al-Qaida has become a bin Laden mentor, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the organization's leader in Iraq. He has declared war on Iraq's Shiite Muslim majority and, with other Sunni-led insurgent groups, has recently launched a wave of violence that has killed hundreds of people.
The MSM will have a hard time with this. If Osama dies as a result of this, they cannot blame the earthquake on Bush, which they would like to do, without giving him credit for killing OBL.

That part of the statement said nothing at all. I doubt very much that this AP writer spoke to a U.S. official about the whereabouts of Bin Laden.
Well, there were Moslems that were saying Katrina was god's punishment to the US. I'm wondering what they are saying about the earthquake.
I can read between then lines. Is the MSM suggesting Manufactured earthquake?
It wouldn't surprise me if they did, though. You know, so many Muslims cheered when the hurricanes hit -- they said it was Allah's judgment on the great Satan. I wonder what they're saying now?

Of COURSE they can blame the earthquake on Bush! Think about it -- when it gets warm, things exand, right?
Well, it is therefore true that global warming causes continents to expand. That expansion causes earthquakes.
There is just as much science in that statement as in the statement that global warming caused Katrina or Rita.

Is this correct? Doesn't this refer to a video tape which had what appeared to be "file footage" of him, with a voice-over ?
I wouldn't call that "a videotaped message", which to me would imply video of him speaking.

Wouldn't it be ironic that after he funded the attack on the World Trade Center, that his demise could have come about by the collapsing walls surrounding him in his hideout?

How about having some of best watch for any excavation work going on in the hills where OBL is suspected of residing. If seen, move to the area, wait to see if anything is brought out, namely OBL, neutralize the diggers and take possession of the scum. That is if he was still alive prior to the quake hitting.
It would be even more ironic if he died by bleeding do death with his hands and feet nailed to a cross.
My thoughts exactly. I doubt this got him, but if it did, we'll never know it.
