It's time to go to Ohio. The dems KNOW they really don't want that can of worms opened... I have too much info on Ohio and if anything dems will go down (Cleveland and Dayton to start... and what ever happened to the military ballots that didn't get counted in Ohio? I dare them). They know people are sheep and listen to that Goebbels rag they put out over and over. They have to stop drinking the Kool-Aid.
For those from Ohio... if you start a blast on this let me know, meanwhile I will do my part through the sites and post.
Sorry to hear that.
What's your take on Santorum/Casey?
Ping
Thanks, just tuned in to the show.
Men can't stand him?
He would be a great governor, yes?
The usual suspects... need attention.
You may be sorry I pinged you, the usual negative suspects have followed here as well.
Flipper probably flipped out. ;)
Dedicated conservatives here are extremely frustrated with Santorum. I have a friend who is as conservative as you can possibly be, and he said he might vote for Casey because of the life issue. I tried to talk him out of it. You'd have to torture me to vote for a democrat.
Sure did, but I am sure the obliviots will find something negative to say about that as well.
Classic.
I'm here....just not listening to radio at the moment.
Before joining I lurked alot and I have to say I've haven't seen so much negativity. Oh well, thats what the water buckets are for I guess. :0)
You have to realize that Sean converts many young people, like my son-in-law to the conservative movement. My issue with him is that he argues with people, and he's repetitive, which can be tedious. On the other hand repetition is effective with young people.
What's great about conservatives is that we can have disagreements and it would be on the issues. The discussions can be intense and yet we end the discussion still being conservatives and still respecting the other's opinions.
Perhaps it is the sequence of recent events that adds to the intensity of emotions these days.
But I have found that an overwhelming majority FReepers still want to get along while having a different point of view discussed.
When we write, sometimes we write quickly and we think we said one thing and another person sees something else.
NEVER underestimate the clintons. They will stop at nothing.
I certainly didn't mean to dis anyone here - not trying to spread bad feelings. :)
Repetition is effective. Years ago, when I was teaching, I made my lesson plan such that I allowed time to say every key thing three times in order that my students would be more able to remember or write it down.
There was an article which quantified that retention was 30% from what was heard and 70% from what was read. I can't say whether the percentages are true but I can say that they appear to be directionally correct, based on what I experienced teaching classes (elementary and secondary classes and college courses)
