Those are the FReepers I know and love everyday... these others are something quite different. Three in particular from the last thread; Every statement was negative, no facts, arguments... just negative. I said "Maybe it's me, been a harsh week", so I went to their pages (Forum), and every single response was bash, bash, bash, bash... no subject they had interest or input on and absolutely nothing, not one thing positive (over 50 postings?). They jump on a thread and spend the entire time whining about how they hate the person or subject... totally contrarian, absolutely nothing to add... no different way to look at things or explanation (when asked), of why they feel that way... nothing.
Yes, Toomey is an impressive guy, almost too good for politics. Santorum was in my neck of the woods last week visiting a childrens' home, and he was on the radio remarking that he's behind in the race. The local conservative radio host, Bobby G. Walsh, is fed up with Santorum because of the Specter re-election.
Hannity just called some guy "Big Peter". Can't he get fined for that?
Is this the crying jag?
Probably.
I hope I don't have to give up Kiefer because of his dad. I love '24'. Praying that Kiefer keeps his mouth shut.
I think that it's fair to say that some folks are very upset. I have posted with a couple who were frustrated and concerned but even then, we were able to have our discussion amicably.
I lurked for a year before I signed up. Water buckets...that's what it's all about, dousting the flamers!
:-) That would be nice.
Sometimes a liberal parent yields a conservative kid.
Yeah, I know, wishful thinking. At any rate, if he were conservative, he would have more incentive to keep quiet as there are a lot of negatives in the entertainment industry if you are not on the Left.
Plus if he were a big liberal, he might lose a measurable portion of his audience. Isn't 24 exactly not a liberalese kind of show?
Bingo! I feel that Hannity was great repeating Kerry's faults before the election. By Nov. we could all recite the list of negatives about Kerry. Sometimes repetition is the ony way to get through to some people that are not hard core newsies.
I wouldn't know. When Hannity's theme starts, I tend to either head to the other end of the dial to hear (again, even) the last two hours of Rush via time delay, or turn the radio off.
For me, a little Sean lasts a very long time. That goes double for his theme song. :)
Good afternoon Ali. Can you add me to your Hannity ping list please?
Good grief, I was responding to another poster regarding why he may be so popular. Do you want an argument or just in love with Sean? Sometimes things are posted in jest, if you know what I mean.
Sure.
Did you see this yet:

Sometimes Conservatives end up with liberal kids too. *sigh*.
Thank you for the explanation. I'm a little thick headed because I have been trying to figure out the water bucket brigade and wasn't coming up any clever answers! LOL
:-) But they can grow out of it?
LOL! Dunno, he's 37 now. I am doubtful, but one never knows.
Now that hurts. Seriously my post was in jest also. Guess it wasn't so funny.
Hey Sean. You were great in San Diego. I loved your boots!
