Last week, I found out she was reading my online journal (and sharing it with all of her friends). There was a lot of political stuff in there and she got REALLY upset. I think that was the main thing she was bothered by. She also claimed that she was uncomfortable talking to her family in front of me because I don't talk to my family. (I have no idea what her logic is there. I didn't care at all that she was talking to her family.) Anyway, one of my friends thinks the whole thing was a ploy to get her own room in the cottages. But I don't really care. I'm going to get my own room, it'll just be in a different dorm. And it happens to be in the same dorm as several of my friends so I'm happy about that. So I'm moving this weekend. I'm happy that I'll be closer to my friends, she's happy that she gets to stay in the cottages. Now we'll be able to walk past each other without pretending we don't notice.

I'm doing great. I'm happy cuz I get to have my own room. My roommate's happy cuz she gets to stay in the cottages. I'm just ready to leave. I'm moving this weekend.

Your chocolate fingers are in the post along with a packet of English custard. Do you remember we were talking about British custard a few months ago I slipped a packet in with your chocolate fingers.

You can serve it with apple pie or stewed fruit especially apple or rhubarb. Another suggestion is peel and fairly thinly slice a banana and add to the hot custard.

,i.Wish I'd heard that. I took 5 care packages to the post office today, and only then did I find out that Columbus Day isn't on October 12th anymore.

I suspect the same as is done in the UK with our various holidays they have made it the nearest Monday to the date so holidays are just tagged on to the weekend rather than disrupting the working week.
