Using the IRS and the FBI on your enemies is just so Nixon lol - quite ironic, considering Hillary Rotten worked for the Watergate counsel.

I'm not keeping any files.....just keeping up with the info from the ones here at FR that are. My 3rd son is now in college. It really ticks me off that I now have to worry about him getting blown up because of PC nonsense! With the older 2 I only worried about their grades, drinking, girls...

So far he's been the best suggestion that I've heard. Like you, I'm waiting to see who else is named. The suggestions I've heard so far, I think are not dynamic enough or probably won't run. Just curious, if you would like to answer, what made you not as firm in Allen's camp.
I fear some rhinos will be in that primary. I pray to see a conservative, we trust and has courage to stick to their conservative/republican values and can speak. I wish Cheney was younger. ;) Without sounding mean, I still can't believe they picked Bob Dole to run against Clinton. That was silly.
I wish there was another Ronald Reagan out there. We were so blessed. :)

George Allen is perfect. The more I hear about him, the better I like him, though I'll have to do more research. Condi would make a great #2 (or #1) on a ticket IMHO.

So true.
Let's not forget that Bush wants to take away social security from old people, school lunches from kids, and healthcare from poor people, and overturn RvW so women will have to go to back alleys.

"they might as well hang it up in 08 if they run one of the wannabe Senators."
The Senate is supposed to be the senior, dignified, elite branch of Congress, and that seems to go to the senators' heads. I have a very low opinion of senators as a group; they are utterly preoccupied with media image, and are therefore very easy for the media to manipulate. The media appeals to and reinforces their intellectual arrogance, and it shows, they can't hide it - Kerry, Gore, McGovern, Dukakis - they all had that "I'm smarter than you and I know better than you attitude." That's why Clinton won - he didn't project that same liberal Democrat arrogance.
The American public seems to agree with me; if I'm not mistaken, we haven't elected a senator as president since JFK, nearly half a century by the next election. That's almost unbelievable when you think that the senate is the most logical launching pad for a presidential run.
