Who's Afraid Of Hillary Clinton?

Who's Afraid Of Hillary Clinton?

2008: A new book says only one person can save America from Hillary Clinton — Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. When it comes to irrational fear of the former first lady, this marks a new frontier in silliness.

You've got to hand it to Clinton adviser-turned-critic Dick Morris. He knows what sells books. And what could sell better than a story of the 2008 presidential race turning into a no-holds-barred cat fight between the two most famous women in politics?

Morris and his wife have co-authored "Condi vs. Hillary: The Next Great Presidential Race," in which they claim that the New York senator's ascension to the highest office in the land is nearly a foregone conclusion.

They also call for drastic measures to prevent that nightmare. Namely, the nomination by the Republican Party of a female minority who has never held elective office and whose position on abortion would likely cause a grass-roots revolt in the GOP.

SNIP SNIP SNIP

The secretary of state is an intriguing and attractive person. But what won elections for George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan wasn't personality. It was principles — like lower taxes to promote prosperity, less reliance on government and rebuilding a strong, assertive military.

A candidate who credibly stands on that kind of a platform can repeat those victories, especially against the likes of Hillary Clinton.

Dick Morris, IMHO, is not about doign what is right for the country, but WHAT WINS ELECTIONS. Be very discerning when you read his opinions. He always look at things from the prism of polls.

These statements from the same editorial says it all:

A Hillary candidacy would offer the opportunity to make the election a referendum on the scandal-plagued Clinton administration.

It would also remind voters that she led a secret task force that tried to impose socialized medicine on this country. And that her own finance director, David Rosen, was indicted earlier this year on campaign finance charges, which the media at the time conveniently underplayed.

Taxpayers could be reminded that her husband ran on cutting middle-class taxes, then reneged on the promise before even taking the oath of office. And Hillary as nominee would refresh memories about a White House that squandered the chance to capture Osama bin Laden before Sept. 11, 2001.

It won't be some secret weapon like Condi Rice that defeats Hillary Clinton if she's the nominee in 2008. It will be the well-known formula that has won in the past: getting the truth out to the voters.

Can you imagine the debate between Dr. Rice and Hildebeast. Just the negotiation of what could be done and how things would be arranged would be a nightmare(from Hildebeast's campaign) and Hildebeast would totally snap when actually confronted by a more intelligent woman(not that Hildebeast is above average intelligence)

I watched Cook on CSpan this weekend. A very important point he made was about the last 3 dem presidents. They were all from the south. People, in general, will not accept a politician from the "liberal northeast".
That being said, we will need a perceived "moderate" with vision. I support George Allen (Regan-like). After the VA senate election, I only hope he doesn't change for the primaries. (Dole)

Well, hard to say. The dedicated kool-aid drinkers and leftist fringe do not care about reality and the truth, so they would vote for ANTHING with the Thugocrat label on it. And too many "moderate" Thugocrats still think they must vote for the Marxist candidate because their parents did...long story short, the non-thinking, selfish, liberal sector will vote for WHATEVER candidate the Thugs put up, including the hand-wringing, Oprah-watching bleeding heart liberals females will be fawning stupidly all over this Marxist witch BECAUSE SHE IS A WOMAN. The same bunch that voted for her criminal, adulterous "husband" because they liked his looks.

I don't think the truth and reality matters at all to the Thugocrat voter. They don't want to face the truth. Reality is a scurge that the Thugocrats keep them protected from.

So does the fact that the dems keep nominating uber liberals from Massachusetts mean that they don't really want the presidency? Besides, isn't Arkansas one of Hillary's home states. Y'all wait until y'all hear that drawl come out durin' the campaign.

Elections are won
in the middle-of-the-road,
not by die-hard 'Rats

or Conservatives.
They're won by swing voters who
get propagandized

and choose to believe
one line over the other.
Look at the scene now:

"Conservatives" are
saying Republicans are
as untrusthworthy

as 'Rats always said.
Middle-of-the-road people
will shrug their shoulders,

say since everyone
says Republicans are bad
(but Republicans!)

and all the attacks
on the Clintons were driven
by Republicans,

maybe Hillary
isn't so bad after all.
And she will be Prez!

The entire fiasco of how a bar bouncer became head of White House Security and shuttled FBI confidential files to Hillary for several years is a fact that disgraces our entire congress and justice department. An interesting recount is brought up HERE. Of course, a google search turns up thousands of pages on this...

FBI FILES - FBI FILES She's still got 'em.

IMHO, Hillary is a first class bully who needs to be called on her threats. She's a bully because she has had the power of the governorship and the presidency to hide behind, but now she's a sitting duck. The media has helped form the opinion that she's the brightest thing to come down the pike, but I don't buy it. She may have above average intelligence, but there are people in all walks of life smarter than Hillary Clinton. She's brazen and bullish, but not brilliant! If she were truly smart, she'd know she should be honest, and she is not. She never gives credit where it is due, but claims it for herself; hence, the book, "It Takes a Village"! She didn't write the book alone, but did she give credit to the ghost writer? Heck no.

What would happen if she used the FBI files to destroy an opponent? Couldn't she be exposed and investigated for unlawfully having documents in her possession? She does not have the White House lawyers and staff to cover for her, and it's time the woman was recognized as the crook she is.

ROFLMAO!

I am fearful of this scumbucket, primo rape enabler and trasher of women her husband in name only brutalized, because of one reason...the UN.

Right now the UN is trying to wrest control of the internet from the United States (its originator).

The UN wants to control it because tyrannical nations and terrorist nations want to be able to put BORDERS on the internet so that free flow of information cannot cross into their nations. The USA refuses to do this, and the Bush administration has stated that this will not happen on his watch.

Hillary will USE the UN for this ... in a second.

HILLARY HAS ALREADY SAID SHE WANTS CONTROLS ON THE INTERNET BECAUSE SHE DOES NOT LIKE THE POWER IT HOLDS TO SPREAD OPINIONS...

This woman would CRUSH THE INTERNET...we would be taxed for every email, websites would be cornered and pressed, depressed, controlled and in some cases eliminated with heavy punishments for those who worked around the edges.

This woman is a tyrant in the wings.. and one who knows that the internet EXPOSED her as well as her filthy husband for the genuine sociopaths they are.

Let me say this for the umpteenth time in this forum ... Hildabeast will never set foot in the Oval Office ... at least not as POTUS. She is far to divisive ... has a perpetual petulant look about her combined with a grating bitchy voice tone. Reminds many men of their first wife.
The 'Rats know she can't win ... but enjoy the endless speculation on the the part of pundits, and Republicans, that she will run for office and possibly win. Won't happen ...

For the most part those likely opponents seem to have a lot that they want to hide. Knowing that politics seems to attract the lowest of the low in our society -on both sides.

But, mostly it is the media who will work their fingers to the bone to protect and promote Hillary at any cost.

I refer to the one particular incident of Craig Livingstone being installed as head of White House Security and getting over 40% wage increases while stealing all the FBI files and working with private investigators to slander and ruin Clinton enemies or accusers --- when things began to come to light and Hillary was questioned before the grand jury she said she had no idea where he came from or who hired him. Bill said the same and Leon Panetta covered for both of them.

Uproar from the media -HELL NO!

Uproar from Congress -HELL NO!

I guess the theory that a bar bouncer from Atlanta can just walk into the White House and take over is good enough for America's brightest.

I have said it before but I believe what wins the Presidency since 1960 is how a candidate looks compared to the other candidate through a television lens. Since 1960, the best looking of the two candidates always seem to win. If you get some young looking guy or gal going up against Hitlary, for the Presidency, they will win.

Well, we will see. My concern is discontent between conservatives and RINOs. This is problem one that needs to fixed and soon. Fools and selfish political troublemakers like McCain, need to be removed from the Repubs' scope of influence. And he and his gang of 14 buddies have really muddied the waters.

I wonder if Bush and Hastert came down on McCain like they did Pence, who is a conservative?? I doubt it.

Still alot of things to be cleaned up before time to go up against the Marxist Medusa.

Dick Morris's predictions are just about the most reliable prognostications around. When I see a prediction like this, then I feel I have a certainty and can place what I see as sucker bets. If he says it will happen, it will not happen. He does some pretty good commentary and analysis from time to time but his predictions are uniformly bad.

And --- understanding the tactics she uses. This is one of them:

In his own words from his book, "Rules for Radicals", the "first rule" that Hillary's mentor, Saul Alinsky, taught her is this::

"The first rule of power tactics is: power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have."

Add a dash of scaring women to death on the notion abortion may be illegal...add a dash of a 50% increase in energy costs, and finally a real estate bubble exploding...a Democrat just might be able to pull it off.

Remember this -- BJ Clinton NEVER won the majority of the votes. In 1992, he only won 43% and in 1996, just 49%. Clinton never won the support of more than 50% of Americans.

If we had a candidate as well organized as Ross Perot, who could siphon off votes from the GOP base in 2000 and 2004, Dubya would not have been president.

We were lucky we had Ralph Nader both times to prevent Gore and Kerry from winning.

Lets just hope we don't have another Perot type in 2008, watch out for President sHrillary.

<<< The evidence includes but is hardly limited to: – An authentic FBI document and sworn testimony showing Hillary Clinton hired the former bar bouncer Craig Livingstone, the individual who helped obtain the Republican FBI files... – Linda Tripp’s testimony that FBI file information was being uploaded onto White House computers to be shared with the Democratic National Committee -- on the orders of Hillary Rodham Clinton…">>>

People make her out to be 10 feet tall and bulletproof because thats what the MSM wants them to think.

Everybody (the MSM mainly) say the demwit nod is hers for the taking, but I think before it ever even gets that far there will be some subtle efforts by the left to knock her off track.

They absolutely know she can't win a national election, and it's too important for them to put the witch out there and cross their fingers.

She would be toast in a national election, but people continue to believe these hill-da-beast is great polls....brought to us weekly by hill-da-beast boot lickers.

Morris and Estrich both have missed the one thing, the one aspect of a strategy that could greatly help Hillary win the presidency. And that is to make her a sympathetic character in the eyes of Americans, women in particular. How to do that you ask? Simple, have her wear black. Black? You mean, like... she is in mourning or something? Exactly. It is almost certain to give her a great advantage. And we all know that Hillary needs something, and will do ANYTHING she has to do to wedge her wide caboose in that Oval Office chair. Hillary needs to become, at the right time and with the right circumstances, a widow.

I am serious, and I am not the only person who has recognized this reality. I think Hillary and her closest political advisers clearly understand this. And I think Bill is too savvy not to understand it. Should he be worried? Perhaps. But the next questions are the "when" and the "how" ?

What about a half measure? Bill becomes more ill with heart disease, he is bed ridden, and photo ops galore land in Hillary's lap. You know, her at the bedside in his hospital room, doe eyed and teary while holding her ashen faced husband's hand?

Not good enough, not big enough, and not "visually searing" enough. The only thing that would be all those things, would be Hillary in black with a black veil, like Jackie, walking behind the flag draped caisson of her husband's coffin on the way to the graveside. Flash! Cover of Time and Cover of Newsweek. I'll bet you can picture it easily in your mind. Hillary wins, by a nose mind you, but she still wins.

Add to that a super-redoubling of Soros sponsored MoveOn.org fraud and vote fraud in EVERY STATE and COUNTY in the US, via illegal alien voting, and you have the WORST CASE SCENERIO for the future of the nation.

Bill should think about this. Remember how McDougal went?
