SYLVESTER, Ga. -- A third-grade teacher accused of performing oral sex on a 9-year-old boy, allowing students to peek down her blouse and slashing her wrists with glass in front of her students pleaded not guilty to the 24 criminal charges she faces.
Georgianne Harrell, 24, was indicted last month on 24 charges of child molestation and reckless conduct.
Her attorney entered the plea on her behalf and waived her right to an arraignment Tuesday.
Harrell cut her wrists with broken glass in front of her class at Holley Elementary School, according to the indictment.
Authorities also say she performed oral sex on a 9-year-old boy in her classroom, let students peek down her blouse and talked to some of the children about sexual matters.
Between August 2004 and May, authorities claim she abused a total of 7 students. She has resigned from the school.
If convicted on all charges, she could receive maximum sentences ranging up to hundreds of years, prosecutors said.
Who are we to judge these two human beings. Maybe they were in love?

Thanks. Did Search. Must have messed something up.
Sadly I wouldn't bet on that.
Fired? It's a public school. Interesting that although this is a Florida station, the events happened in GA. Usually we expect this in FL or CA.
"Let me called it the Oprahfrication of the citizens in the USA."
I like that. Follows der Slickmeisters Oralfrication of US.
Not exactly the same. Yesterday he was 8.
The term "Oprahafication" is a really great one. I remember when the woman who drove her car into the pond and killed her two little boys was Oprah's subject-of-the-day, and all the stupid crap they talked about on her show had nothing to do with the fact that this woman was a stone-cold killer!! They seemed to feel sorry for this killer, and I'm watching it thinking they ought to shoot her or hang her. I then realized your word, and I think oprahfication says it all for the loons and demorats out there!!
Great - now every school district will have to pay to have psychological evaluations done for prospective teachers.
"Now Johnny, I'll be Monica and you will be President Clinton..."

What a sick person..she needs to be put away for life.
Back in the 60's the only blows my teacher gave me was from a ruler across the knuckles. (She didn't use the rosary because she had more respect for it.)
If only they let teachers get married, then this wouldn't happen.
Years ago my 4th grader would tell dinner stories about her teacher. She would report how the day went and we soon began to get the feeling that the 45+ female teacher was suffering from mental illness. She would have days when she
would just cry. She would put up a cardboard piece in front of her so the class could not see her. She would tell them to keep busy.
I went to the office and spoke with the head of the school because it was getting more strange. I called a parent with a little girl in the class and she was also worried.
Without going into detail things went from bad to awful for the poor kids. We went to the school administrator. He reported that the teacher had taken a leave and there would be a substitute in for the near future.
He informed us that over a 12 year period this lady had suffered on and off from a disorder ( not named) and was on medication. The union brough her back after an incident of
hitting a child years earlier. She would get worse around holidays. They placed children in her room and used the
term " bomb proof" in placing them. Kids that were easy going, doing well and thought not to be hyper would be placed in her class......................
Never ignore warnings coming from your student about a teacher. Always talk to them and ask questions about the day and how things are going. The teacher retired. I understand she went to the next district with a clear record.........and union dues paid.
She shudda waited until she had tenure.
