This has been going on since the 60's. There was a riot in 67 on Dorr street. I drove down Dorr 2 days later and you'd never know anything had happened. The neighborhood was quiet. This is nothing new there.
If that had been my house, the street would have resembled one of the last scenes from the movie "ZULU."

Nope, you're right. The Nazis, all 14 or so of them, hightailed it early, no doubt back to their motel to watch the riots on TV and gloat. A lady cop will have to resort to the use of firearms well before a male cop will.

Not impossible. FNC reported that some of the "protestors" were bused in, which usually means some kind of ANSWER and other outside involvement. Bands of a dozen or so Nazis march here and there all the time. It doesn't usually lead to anything worse than some name-calling and obscene gestures. This is different, and the degree of planning by the LLL is the main difference.

I don't think the neighborhood needs to be cured. This is a nice area, a stable old Polish area.
Troublemakers came in from other parts of the city, it would seem to me.
Toledo has become a sad, sorry city. The Polish neighborhoods are part of the few bright spots.
Ironic that the original complaint was that there were gangs coming in and causing trouble. :-/
