Actual Headline of AP's Toledo Riot story taken from Yahoo News

Here is the updated headline. Note that now that ABC news is no longer claiming that the white supremacists were rioting, they have also taken out the word "hundreds" from the headline. Also, the term "anti-white supremacist protesters" is now used. There were 15-20 white supremacists holding an organized protest, who went home prior to the rioting. As ugly as their message was, it appears that they were exercising their right to free speech within the bounds of the law. There were hundreds of rioting anarchists, race activists and gang members, assaulting individuals, damaging property, setting fire to buildings... The emphasis in the headline is still in the context of the white supremacists, rather than the criminal groups of anarchists, race activists and gang members. Why is that?

Also lost in the story, besides the truth, is the reason for the skinhead march. They were protesting the lack of police action when roaming black gangs attacked white neighborhoods...evidently an ongoing problem.

It is a truly bizarre headline which has no relation to the story at all. When I worked on my school newspaper many years ago I did some headline writing as well as articles. Normally different people do the headlines, and at liberal newspapers the headline writers are the younger flunkies, over-eager to prove they are more flamingly leftist than their seniors, in hopes of promotion.

If a single White Supremacist had thrown a rock, I'm sure the eager photographers would have caught him in the act and plastered it on the front pages. The best they could come up with was the picture that accompanies the story:

I guess these lefties don't get Fox News on their cable. The rest of the country watched young black thugs throwing rocks through the windshield of an ambulance, attack police, and burn some offensive white-owned businesses. I can't wait to read Brent Bozell's comments on this lying news coverage.
