But on November 7, 2000, by random dumb luck, everyone used red for the GOP and blue for the Rats. Then you had something like 40 days where everyone was waving red-and-blue maps all over the place 24 hours per day, and that set it in stone forever.

Yeah, I know, it's just that it seems these random dumb luck things happen beyond the ability for a sane mind to calculate a fair probability of occurance.

NEW YORK -- With a ferociousness usually reserved for (Republican) presidents caught alleged by Democrats to be lying to the public, the journalism world has turned on The New York Times and its reporter Judith Miller, who only weeks ago was being lauded for her willingness to go to jail to protect a source.

I accidently listened to Airhead America today and Randi Rhodes was basically saying that Judith Miller was a Bush stooge...

Like a blind fly, Rhodes may have accidently found a turd.

Consider this: What if Miller is CIA?

Here is a post from yesterday, posted by Churchillbuff:
___________________________________________

"I saw one article that said that, while reporting some story in France, Miller resided in the home of the US ambassador. It supposedly really p'd off the reporters in the NY Times bureau in Paris. Strange, that a mere reporter could set up shop in an American diplomatic home."
___________________________________________

And from the article posted on that same thread:
___________________________________________

"There is one enormous journalism scandal hidden in Judith Miller's Oct. 16th first person article about the (perhaps lesser) CIA leak scandal. And that is Ms. Miller's revelation that she was granted a DoD security clearance while embedded with the WMD search team in Iraq in 2003."
___________________________________________

If indeed Miller was recruited and turned into an "asset", complete with case officer, special accomodations with ambassadors, DoD security clearance while embedded with WMD troops, etc., then the whole Plame leak fiasco begins to take shape and come into focus, beginning with Miller's pro-WMD reports leading up to the war, to her bogus "I don't recall my source" testimony before the grand jury, and finally to the utter confusion that seems to reign in the NY Times newsroom.

In the context of Miller herself being CIA the whole mess actually begins to make some sense.

The MSM may be unhappy with Ms. Miller because she could actually be doing what the MSM is forever loudly asserting that it, the MSM, does - i.e., protecting confidential sources.

Should this be so, Ms. Miller would, in her eyes and in those especially of many fellow reporters, retain her professional integrity and self-esteem.

Quality reporters - usually not editors - have characteristics of independence, and even of eccentricity. The latter is not common today, but was in the heyday of the newspaper medium.

The MSM's unhappiness with Ms. Miller is because, seemingly at this point, she has not come up with what was necessary for an indictment.

Yep..the infamous prosecutor, Sir newly-Knighted Ronnie Earle of Austin, supenaoed the cell phone records of Mr Ellis' 17 year-old daughter back in 2002/2003 and how she is alleged to be involved in the laundering of misappropriated funds to the GOP. Incidently, she was 14 back then.. yes, 14. Why don't they file child abuse charges while they're at it! Icing on the cupcake. That would definitely constitute a conviction on Ellis! How dare a Conservative parent use his minor child to influence political GOP covert funding operations upon her girlfriends and boyfriends in OUR public schools AND during Friday Nite Football games!!!! And God forbid they said a Prayer before the game. She should be tried for TREASON!!! Hang her like the treasonous spy she is!! yea..Ronnie...go for it!
