I have to admit that my nose was bent of shape when Pope John Paul II made a visit to Cuba. JPII was used by Castro for the momentary propaganda. I am sure he knew it. But JPII thought it important to visit, so he put up with that POS.
What's the new pontiff have to say about this oppression?

Could it be that the DUmmies got a show and didn't see the real Cuba?Y'think? Here is the real Cuba. Lotsa photos of current revolting conditions in schools, nursing homes and hospitals, as well as nice photos of tourist hotels.

If I were a betting man, I would wager a year's income that ultimately the Word of God will prevail and the satanic Marxist ideology will dissipate from Cuba.
Castro has always being antagonistic to Christians, despite his made-for-TV appearances in Havana churches with the "Reverend" Jesse Jackson or "born-again" President Carter. During these media events, Cuban parishioners are usually banished from their own churches and Castro's thugs fill the pews to applaud every word of the visiting American dignitaries.
The mockery of the gospel by Castro, Jesse Jackson, President Carter and others is beyond disgusting, especially when Americans travel to Cuba to "worship" with Castro, giving credibility to atheist Castro while ignoring the local persecuted Christians.
