Not to long ago, someone posted an article here about the government requiring tire pressure warning systems in cars. I took the cost per car the new system was expected to add, multiplied it by the number of new cars sold each year in the US, and then divided that by the number of people the article claimed were killed each year from low tire pressure and the amount I came up with was more than $500,000 per life saved.
I have an SUV with that. I like the feature.
