US to deport 225 illegal Pak residents
Tuesday, October 04, 2005 05:17:18 pm
WASHINGTON: As many as 225 Pakistanis who were residing illegally in the US were arrested from various cities and will be deported to Pakistan, agencies reported on Tuesday.
According to a private TV channel, the 225 deportees will be flown to Islamabad on a special plane within the next 36 hours.
Most of the arrested Pakistanis had been residing illegally in the US for the last many months while others had violated immigration laws and were arrested during last two weeks.

KEYWORDS: aliens; deport; illegalimmigrants; immigrantlist; islam; oubombing; pakistan
Interesting that this roundup occurred RIGHT around the time of the Oklahoma University bombing on Oct 1.
No Connection. Nothing to see here.
You don't need to see their identification. These aren't the droids you're looking for. Move along
To: SauronOfMordor
225 less Pakistanis is a start. How about 225 Saudis next month?
Good. Now catch the rest of them.

THAT was the same connection I made when I saw this just now! I wish there had been a listing of the cities involved!

Actually it had begun with the deportation of the two Paki Jihadists in Lodi California. That was a record in time re deportation.
Then add the OU incident and only God and the HLS heads know what else, and we see this good news.
We can thank our Aussie friends and allies in the WOT for their brave stance, "If you preach violence or threaten to harm or kill us, you will be deported or put in prison!"

I don't know that they aren't deporting illegal Mexicans. I would never have heard about this deportation if I'd have relied on the US media. India, of course, is interested because they see it as egg on the face of their enemies, the Pakistanis.

Where is the American press on this one? Guess they are same ones that have been MIA about the entire OU poor, depressed bomber with 500 lbs of explosives in his car and apartment and nothing to see here.
About time they started rounding them up and shipping them back -- makes my day!

Actually ICE deported a record number of illegals last year, almost 160,000. I think around 70% of those were deported to Mexico. The problem is the number of illegals not being caught/deported is many times the number deported. That is why the only real solution is a major fence that is guarded at all times. No law change or any other solution will work. The fence has to be step one before anything else will even make a dent, and it needs to be soon.

CREE in Raleigh,NC got popped this week for 36 illegals (supposedly subcontractor supplied employees) and according to www.WRAL.com, they were mostly illegal Pakistani,Israeli and Egyptions.
They were only ever even looked at by ICE, because CREE has been directly awarded a few federal GSA contracts.
My fellow USA citizens, we have a problem!
And I really don't want to hear any lame self-serving opinions from the type of people who think that their saving $10.00 in getting their grass mowed by an illegal alien, is somehow vastly different than a large company saving $10,000.00 by hiring an illegal "professional".
Got ethics?

Everything from tape worms to TB is coming across the border. Their hosts end up working in restaurants and food related businesses, e.g., chicken processing plants, 7/11 stores. Better boil your Slurpees for 15 minutes before you eat them.

Thank you both for the pings. I'm glad to see they're taking seriously the deportation of these people. Just too many risks associated with not doing so. It is interesting that this is all within the same time period.
BTW: Did you see the other thing I found today? Two Students were arrested UNDER OU for allegedly stealing a "stoppered glass vial" from Richards Hall (Zoology Dept.). (Lots of intersting connections - one of the men arrested is thought to be the son of the attorney in the Dreyling case.)

Here is what a little research on google revealed... The 225 number I can only find in HinduTimes, IndiaTimes, and a Pakistani Newspaper.
News Release
October 5, 2005ICE DEPORTS 128 PEOPLE ON SPECIAL FLIGHTS TO PAKISTAN AND DOMINICAN REPUBLIC Many on The Flights Have Criminal Convictions
BUFFALO, N.Y. - U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced today the removal of 128 people to Pakistan, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and El Salvador in two separate flights from Buffalo area airports. The Buffalo Office of Detention and Removal Operations conducted the operations.
The flight to Pakistan left Niagara Falls International Airport at noon on Tuesday and landed in Islamabad about 8:00 a.m. this morning Eastern Standard Time. The flight included 79 Pakistani nationals including 20 criminals and 59 individuals deported for immigration violations.
The criminals on the flights included people convicted of drug possession and trafficking crimes, sex offenses, robbery, perjury, counterfeiting, forgery and assault.
The flight to the Dominican Republic, Mexico and El Salvador left from the Buffalo International Airport and included 49 criminals with convictions including homicide, sexual assault, weapons violations, robbery, assault and various drug related convictions, including trafficking. The flight included 34 being deported to the Dominican Republic, 10 to Mexico and 5 to El Salvador.
Three of the individuals removed to El Salvador were known members of MS-13, a violent street gang which is one of the targets of Operation Community Shield, a ICE initiative to dismantling gangs. Community Shield attacks gangs by targeting their members, seizing financial assets, disrupting criminal operations, and removing gang members back to their native countries. The vast majority of individuals on the flight to Caribbean and Central America came from New York State prisons. The individuals came into ICE custody after they served their criminal sentence.
Also on the flight is a Dominican National, Ramone Tapia-Vasquez, who was convicted in New York of three counts of attempted murder, two counts of weapons possession, robbery and assault. The convictions resulted from a botched robbery attempt in which the individual fire multiple gunshots at New York City police officers attempting to arrest him. Although no officers were hit during the robbery attempt two innocent bystanders were wounded by gunfire from Tapia Vasquez.
Charles Mule', Acting Field Office Director of the Buffalo office said, "Removing criminals from the United State's helps protect our neighborhoods from people who prey on the innocent and have no respect for the nations laws. Removing individuals who have violated immigrations law is necessary to protect the integrity of the immigration system."
Mule' pointed out that removing 128 individuals in two days is a significant accomplishment for the men and women of the Buffalo Office of Detention and Removal Operations.

Good. And thank God for President Howard. I think he understands what we are up against and what we have to do better than anyone. What a difference from my masters in Ottawa - yes I am one of those Canucks - but not proudly.
To: Sam Gamgee
PM John Howard is like a foundation for us in the WOT.
I'm sure that he has brought Tony Blair around to the position that Tony is in. Friends in Australia have told their relatives here that Howard told the lefty NZ leader to stop backing the wrong people behind closed doors in early 2002. She has been basically quiet since then.

Well, Canada is basically doomed. The problem is Liberals don't believe in justice. They don't understand that the primary function of a justice system is punishment. Because they don't like having people in jail (which they had admitted time and again in Parliament) they will not enforce minimum sentencing legislation. This approach to justice if essentially the same attitude they take against terrorism. If only we send oodles of economic aid to the Middle East, they will love us and leave us alone.
I understand that although New Zealanders are nice people, that they are essentially socialists and enviro-whackos.
To: ladyjane
You are absolutely right!
It makes me angry to think how they get away with this, and our ancestors who had to come in through Ellis Island were put through a rigorous and often embarrassing health exam. They would not be admitted if they had pink eye!
I had a childhood friend who, in hr twenties, went to Italy to visit her father's family. While there, she fell in love with a wonderful young man. Her father, a cabinet-maker, approved of the young man, and had a job for him and a house all set up for the young couple. He was turned back by US Immigration 3 times in 10 years for having TB antibodies in his blood, although he was perfectly healthy. This girl was heartbroken and never married.
Today, he could just hop on a plane and come in through Kennedy Airport, or fly to Mexico and drive across the border.

There are also alot of criminals in the mexican illegals roaming our streets. They should all, each and every person who enters our country illegally be deported immediately.
Our economy will not collapse, instead we should start demanding that those on welfare need to work the jobs available in order to recieve any benefits. Use the prisioners in picking the fruits and lettuce to work off their costs for housing and feeding.
If we stop letting a whole segment of society sit on their oversized butts collecting benefits (as seen in NO) and expect them to work we won't need to import any illegals.
To: SouthernFreebird
They should all, each and every person who enters our country illegally be deported immediately. Never said they shouldn't. But as I said, it's more important to get rid of some of them quickly than it is for others. Next the ones caught in criminal acts, then the ones who just want work.
