As the old saying goes....I don't chew my cud twice. And no, I'm not a cow nor goat. That's just a very old saying that means that I won't repeat myself.

No problem.
I aim to please. :-)
This was baiting and pushing, to start a flame war. I didn't and won't fall for the "bait".Oh the irony. If that wasn't baiting just now start a flame war, then what was it?
I post facts. I stay on topic. Why don't you try to do the same?
If George Will jumped off a bridge, how many conservatives would follow?
Do YOU know what the question is ? It doesn't appear that you do.
HH: glad-handing jolly country club RINO.
"I post facts. I stay on topic. Why don't you try to do the same?"
You're being rhetorical, right?
Hi Nopardons.
You said, "The only person who has a choice in any judicial nomination, right or wrong, is the president."
One doesn't need a law dictionary to see that what you are saying is completely false. I don't like seeing falsehoods about the constitution being spread, so I hope your ego can withstand being corrected.
When Robert Bork failed to become a Supreme Court Justice, was that the presidents choice? No? I guess someone else had a choice in the matter then didn't they -- the U.S. Senate. And both the Senate and President are influenced by the words of citizens, even including George Will, that's how our system of government works.
You dismiss every valid criticism of Miers, as coming from those whose preferred nominee wasn't chosen. For the theory to be valid, you'd have to have the same number of people opposing both Roberts and Miers. Yet probably 10x as many people are questioning Miers right now, so the theory isn't interesting from a factual standpoint.
The theory is interesting however from a psychological standpoint. Please lay down on the couch, tell us your childhood traumas, and explain to us how your psychic powers enable you to read the minds of every conservative critic, to discover all of their motives are demonic. Miers has no documented history of a conservative judicial philosphy, so everyone worried about this is simply jealous and bitter?
Tell us the mentality behind smearing every longtime principled conservative with valid concerns. How does it feel attacking a wide swath of conservatives in this way, do you imagine it is the same rush people on DU get from impugning the motives of conservatives? What kind of emotional need does it fill to malign so many conservative thinkers? Is it refreshing for you to revert to a childlike level of immaturity, or have you been there all along? Do you find yourself cheering Hugh Hewitt when he abandons his Facade of principles to attack true conservatives?
Obviously, you are having a problem understanding what is and what isn't "baiting". Pity that. ;^)
But I have to conclude, you slipped with '3 points', actually what you have is 'talking points'.
Are you on someones recipient list.
Are the points about to change for the week end shows?
"Where's the logic with all the criticism of your post?"
Beats me.
"If George Will jumped off a bridge, how many conservatives would follow?"
Too many, it appears.
If George Will jumped off a bridge, how many conservatives would follow?
What better place to deliver the Washington Post.

No problem.
"(sarcasm)"
Priceless
Not really. I wish that everyone would stay on topic and use facts, instead of emotion. But in light of the state of things, yes, I guess it has to be "rhetorical".

Sadly, yes.
