I thought the current president of Korea was in love with the Chinese?

I also seem to remember that he is not very popular. Are the Koreans going to kick him out?

Re #3

We will try. We may have a chance next year. The ruling party could throw an early election exploiting maximum political uncertainty when oppositions are still sorting themselves out, and jocking for power among themselves. For this, the current president is willing to step down one year ahead of schedule.

The economy is so bad here, but the current government is thoroughly negligent. That is the chief reason behind their abysmal popularity.
