Sure plenty of people believed she was unqualified. And you are absolutely wrong if you think there were no comments about her lacking intellect.
I saw plenty. "Cleaning lady" among others is not what the woman deserved to be called.

Condescension, ridicule and arrogance was what I saw from the Bushbots and Miers supporters here on FR over this past few weeks. Nah. They weren't calling Harriett Miers a "cleaning lady," a "paper stapler" or "a waste of a human being."

I have no problem with people thinking her unqualified.
My original comment concerned remarks about her being stupid and uneducated.
