Give me a break. This is the Clintons big scene: Just allow your eye(s) to fill with tears, bite your lower lip and beg,BEG for forgiveness. From you screen name I do not get the impression that you are one of those Freepers who believes that Out of Control Spending by Republicans is not as bad as out of control; spending by democrats.

I'm outraged at the obscene spending by the so-called Republican congress, and by Pres. Bush's willingness to sign off on it.

The best we can expect from Democrats is high taxes, high spending, and therefore a slow economy and massive deficits.

Republicans, though not half bad on taxes recently, should at least be able to hold spending to inflation plus population growth, and eliminate the most egregious pork and failed programs. With majorities and a Republican president, there's really no excuse for not enacting mild across the board spending cuts of 5-10%. We'd see huge surpluses in a few years and the Democrats would lose all political hope.
