"A Greenpeace official in the Philippines described the incident as accidental, and said it would comply with the marine park authorities' ruling." Gee, thanks for deciding to "comply with" THE LAW.

Constantino said the healthy state of the Tubbataha Reefs did not disprove the theory of global warming, which he described as an "extremely complicated science."
HA HA HA HA HA!! Oh, boy, you just can't write this kind of stuff. The only thing "extremely complicated" about global warming is keeping up with all the fabrications and junk science that goes along with a pseudo-environmental political movement.
Also, I like the fact that their ship ran aground on the very reef they were trying to "save". Dumbasses.

They also got caught in Alaska in a ship with no oil spill plan in violation of various laws...
then got caught sneaking out of port illegally.
The Jury convicted them, but some liberal Judge may give them a pass.

ROFL. When you take into considertaion how long it takes for that reef to rebuild itself after such a "run in"... they should get a lot more of a fine than that. My buddy has a saltwater tank and in the 40gallon environment.... he has spent over $3k in corals and fish.
To: SmithL
The reef was obviously an agent for Karl Rove.
