No more being nice. This is just another Democrat "show-boat" investigation and should just be shut down.

Durbin says they will shut down the open session every day until they get their way.

The session can be opened by a simple majority vote, so this is more of the Dems holding their breath until they turn bluer.

What? The law wasn't broken! The Special Counsel concluded Valerie Plame wasn't outed. Yet the Democrats, instead of accepting the truth, have decided to play politics with our national security. Its not like there are more important things to find to occupy their time.

Dems won't be happy until this blows Bush and Cheney out of office with indictments and possible jail time. That's what they want, and in the meantime, they'll make as much noise and palaver about this as possible. With sound bites from Kerry and Fat Teddy for weeks and months to come, Hill chiming in as a 'concerned' senator from time to time. If this display doesn't make you sick, I don't know what would.

How can a 3 yr old get control of the senate?

Fine, let them. The majority of people, when they finally do hear about this, will see the dems, once again, acting like babies.

"Senate Intelligence"

Shouldn't that be added to the oxymoron list? At least on the Dem side?

It has to be closed and they know it.

If it was open the fundamental questions about why Washington was talking about Wilson and his wife will be exposed...or exposed again -how soon they forget. What Wilson said versus what he told the CIA. His dubious claims of debunking documents. Dems need mystery because they've so far successfully run a meme that Wilson was an unfair target.

Keep it open!

CSPAN 2 will go back to it when either the session re-opens or someone else comes to the microphones to speak to the press.

This is to artifically create a story for the nightly newscasts so they have reason to attack Bush. Apparently polling data hasn't been good for the Dems on this.

That the dems know are taking advantage of the silence of the White House is a nonbrainer. This is a publicity stunt.

Well, hell's bell's, Mr. President. If you don't say it, I will:

BRING IT ON!!!!!!

I urge EVERY FREEPER to send your collected info to your Senator.

Frist is pissed. I know a pissed doctor when I see one. I have seen many.

Ok, here is the reality. Nobody outside of Washington (other than us political junkies, and we are junkies) knows or cares about Scooter Libby. They don't care if he was indicted. Thus, this action by the dems will simply make them look like they are trying to re-debate the issues that were central to the 2004 campaign.

Ladies and gentlemen, the collapse has begun. Let them shut down the Senate (or try). In the end, they will lose.
