Sen. Biden stumps in Kentucky (Biden:"I'm going to shove my rosary beads down their throats")

"If I'm the nominee, Republicans will be sorry," said Biden, a Roman Catholic who ran for president in 1988. "The next Republican that tells me I'm not religious I'm going to shove my rosary beads down their throat."

Biden said that in most cases, Democrats have themselves to blame for losing in so-called red states such as Kentucky and Ohio.

"We have put up too many candidates who can't connect with middle-class Americans," he said. "In the last two (presidential elections), the Democratic Party has lost its base, the middle-class votes. ... And we have played into the hands of the Republicans. We've allowed so-called social issues to be so divisive."

State Sen. Julian Carroll, a Frankfort Democrat and former governor, agreed. He said the party has to seek out the voters it is losing to Republican candidates.

"If we define who we are, the middle class will vote Democratic again," Carroll said.

The GOP is already sorry. Sorry there are any Catholics who are shameless enough to belong to the POA (Party of Abortion).

With respect to Sen Bunning, why is he "objecting" to Biden's campaigning in northern Ky? Seems to me the GOP should pay Biden's expenses..

Off topic a tad...but have an Freepers in Ky heard more about rumors that Bunning will retire?

They're not hair plugs. He drills tiny holes in his scalp and the hairball he has for a brain puts out shoots.

OK, Catholic Joe, whats your position on Abortion? And you take communion? Hmmmm... rather hypocritical of you, isn't it? Not to mention a mortal sin?

Now that is the making of a campaign slogan!

Nearly as good as the original "F'n" remark in Rolling Stone.

"If we define who we are"

There's the rub! If the RATs actually define who they are, they will lose every single election. Let's hear them state all of their true leftist positions re abortion, taxes, euthanasia, big gummint, race, illegals, homos/lesbians, the family and marriage, welfare, the war and terrorism etc. etc. Don't hold your breath. They do not dare elucidate.

For Democrats, it always comes down to one thing - - they think they need to lie better.

Moral Absolutes Ping.

For your morning laugh. Funny, but not so funny. When leftists try to be religious and appeal to "regular" people, they out themselves for who they really are.

Freepmail me if you want on/off this pinglist.

Warning - some of the comments are not exactly - polite.
