Sen. Biden stumps in Kentucky (Biden:"I'm going to shove my rosary beads down their throats")

"If I'm the nominee, Republicans will be sorry," said Biden, a Roman Catholic who ran for president in 1988. "The next Republican that tells me I'm not religious I'm going to shove my rosary beads down their throat."

Biden said that in most cases, Democrats have themselves to blame for losing in so-called red states such as Kentucky and Ohio.

"We have put up too many candidates who can't connect with middle-class Americans," he said. "In the last two (presidential elections), the Democratic Party has lost its base, the middle-class votes. ... And we have played into the hands of the Republicans. We've allowed so-called social issues to be so divisive."

State Sen. Julian Carroll, a Frankfort Democrat and former governor, agreed. He said the party has to seek out the voters it is losing to Republican candidates.

"If we define who we are, the middle class will vote Democratic again," Carroll said.

Feel free to try and shove rosary beads down my throat - you'll find it an enlightening experience.

LOL, don't you mean a slightly rougher than expected experience?

He can shove them up his... for defending a party that considers abortion and homosexuality to be positive things rather than sin. He is trying to wear his religion on his sleeve, as Bill Clinton did carrying that thick bible to church during his trials.

Of course, that same Bill Clinton received oral sex after church one Sunday (Palm Sunday?) in an adulterous affair.

Medical insurance is not a right or moral issue. The moral decision comes from parents who pay their insurance premiums instead of cable bills or weekly tobacco fixes.

There is no charity in forced taxation.

"If we define who we are, the middle class will vote Democratic again," Carroll said.

Sounds just like Lewis Carroll.

-"The next Republican that tells me I'm not religious I'm going to shove my rosary beads down their throat."-

Sounds like the perfect rat for the job to me! Between him and Howie they'll repel every voter in the U.S.

ROTFLMAO!!

Boy, am I glad this quote wasn't deleted from the excerpt.

If they defined who they are, they would have as many voters as the Libertarians....no disrespect to Libertarians out there!

Dear Joe, Everyone is religious. It's just so many disagree with the religion of liberalism.

Good point. You cannot be a Catholic and a supporter of abortion. A Catholic may have to tolerate abortion, but you cannot actively support it.

Hmmmm .. threatening someone with a Rosary ... I'm thinking that isn't want one is suppose to do with them

It suggests that when Biden prays the Rosary, he's probably not doing much more than mouthing the words with no appreciation of their meaning or relevance.

Yes, they like to make melo-dramatic statements like that.
But Demo-friends-of-Parisites-&-moozlims should take care with idle threats. If "push comes to shove" FReepers are armed and our children thrive, despite the kulturesmog, while they kill their own off-spring.
It's still a free country: They can shove things down their own throats if they want.

"Biden:'I'm going to shove my rosary beads down their throats.'"

If this jerk ever runs for President, this remark is sure to haunt his campaign. I'll make a bold prediction here. Joe Biden will never be President of the United States.
