PARIS (AFX) - Some 400 cars were set on fire in the outskirts of Paris last night, as serious riots in the city's outskirts continued for an eighth consecutive night, the police said.
Police also reported that 27 buses were set on fire at a depot, and that fires were started at a primary school in the district of Stains and at a warehouse in Aulnay-Sous-Bois.
The police also said that for the first time since the riots broke out over a week ago, similar disturbances, although on a smaller scale, took place in other French towns, with several cars being set on fire in Dijon and in the Seine-Maritime and Bouche-du-Rhone regions.
However, the police also said that there were fewer clashes between police and rioters than on Wednesday night.
The riots were triggered last week when two teenagers were electrocuted after hiding in an electrical substation to escape a police identity check in the Parisian suburb of Clichy-sous-Bois.
These are merely Ramadan festivities, no doubt.
You know how it is at Christmas...open your gifts, visit with family and friends, have a nice big turkey dinner with all the trimmings, and then head outside to burn vehicles, deface synagogues and beat up innocent people.

I don't think we need the word "coward" in the English language anymore. The word "Frenchman" is much more descriptive.
Obviously American Imperalism, afterall that is what the French fear.

I can't believe they have let this go on for so long. Especially considering the circumstances that two dumb asses got themselves killed.
If the police would have done their job right there would be awhole lot more dead for them to bury at this point.

Perhaps they are just a bunch of neocons dressed up like muslims. That might make sense. All this just to drag us into war with Iran.
So not as many confortations with police last night yet more damage than ever before. The thugs/Caliphantists are too busy off burning things like mass transit vehicles, etc. and the police are probably not going into some areas anymore (don't want the Moletov's in the face treament).
Not sure that is good news.
Heck, wait till they have their next shindig at Mecca and nuke em.
