I "lurked" for about 8 months before I jumped into the fray here. This is a tough crowd to play to. LOL!

School nite, you should be in bed.

It is sarcasm.

No way. All this crap directed at Cheney over the Plame stuff is nonsense. I pray that President Bush will ignore the chattering of the media elites and the Democrats and ride out the storm and not jettison Cheney.

I found a potato chip that resembles Bush. I'll sell it to you, if you have enough coin.

If you are sincere, welcome to Free Republic from one fairly newbie poster to another.
However, you may want to take note that while this is without a doubt a more friendly place than say, the Main Stream Media, it is not without Bush Bashers, so beware.
But don't let that discourage you. Hang tough and you'll find that many of us really do support the President and admire him. We just all have disagreements with his policies now and then.
Good luck and enjoy learning. I sure have.

I agree that here and there he's done some things that I don't like, but with his leadership in the War on Terrorism, he will go down in history as a great president, and we have to keep in mind that history judges on a much different scale that contemporary politics. Lincoln wasn't popular, neither was FDR. It's not ridiculous to say President Bush will go down as a great President. Is he better than Reagan? That's a judgment call.

It should go without saying that when you have Christ in your corner and you rely on the Bible, you're in better shape than the secular elites who think they have everything figured out. Troll, definitely, and skilled one. He's hoping the locals lap it up, for the amusement of him and his friends. LOL.

You're brave. I think I waited about sixish years. I'm such a weenie.
To: pollyannaish
Thanks. I don't think Bush is perfect but we conservatives need to stick together, especially since the liberals are trying to accomplish through teh media and the courts what they couldn't do last November.
To: Torie
Wow, aren't you a cynic? I guess you think you're so much smarter than me because you take a detached view of the President. It doesn't hurt to show some enthusiasm.
To: BushPolicy
hmmm... people don't look to kindly on vanities on the main board. They are ok sometimes, but better placed on the chat board.

It is sarcasm.I thought so at first as well. But he has stayed around to defend his remarks. Plus he spells well and is articulate.

The democrats would build an oil refinery on Rushmore before they'd allow THAT to happen

If there's a better place for me to put this, I'd be more than willing to oblige. I don't want to run afoul of site protocol.
