Her lips actually looked like she used a vacuum to shape them before each shot. Actually, her lippage look eerily similar to the Joker in the first Batman movie.

Be glad its science fiction. Science Fiction? What a slam at a great genre!
It is more in the realm of "fantasy"; and horribly bad fantasy at that.
As if written by dropouts who slept through or failed every science class they ever took!

Did you catch the part showing the SR71 Pilot punching in commands on the SR71 control panel... the one that had choices for NTSC, PAL, SECAM, Frames per second, and other TELEVISION jargon???A movie assembled by retarded idiots!
I have to keep reminding myself that these actors are dumber-than-rocks educational dropouts who can mimic seriousness, thought, logical thinking and applying scientific knowlege to a problem without having a clue.
Sort of like a flock of parrots making the right gestures and facial expressions without having a clue!

SR71 taking weather measurements! haha...
Weren't there some SR-71 sensory packages designed to collect air samples from around Soviet Nuke/Bio/Chem test sites? The U-2 definitely had them ... so it probably isn't much of a stretch.
What made me laugh was how the SR-71 had a no-frames, bubble-style canopy and the crew weren't even wearing oxygen masks (let alone full pressure suits). At one point the RSO actually makes a comment to the pilot about how it's nice that the cockpit is now pressurized and they don't have to wear the pressure suits. Took me a long while to stop laughing after I heard that one (SR-71's cockpits have always been climate controlled ... the pressure suits were worn in case something really bad happened at Mach 3/100,000 feet)
Did anyone else notice that the SR in the movie was bare metal and not black? That was pretty cool ... they even used footage of the prototype A-12 (single-seat predecessor of the SR-71, which was in natural metal during its initial trials out of Groom Lake) during the refueling sequence.

My favorite thing about the movie was the storm surge that takes out the Statue of Liberty. The Statue of Liberty from the pedestal to the tip of the torch is about 305ft, and the storm surge hit at the head and shoulders of the SoL. My feeling is screw the wind, rain and flying buses, a wall of water about 275ft tall is coming at you, its time to pack up your $hit and drive to Ohio...very fast.

-- I loved Tom Skerrit's line: "We're over the trailer park now!"---
Which would be quickly followed by "ok, we're 100 miles from the trailer park now!"

I haven't been paying close attention. Is it a feminist or a gay guy that saves the world this time?

This is almost as bad as the Fox 'globull warming' special earlier this evening. At least this crap is (perhaps inadvertently) somewhat amusing.

The last ten minutes was anti-climactic. We have to believe shutting down all the power would suck the life out of a super-storm. Its never explained how you can sustain a modern civilization without power for any length of time but that's the liberal faith in the ability of nature to right itself without human interference. Its an neo Luddite argument. We're asked to believe that pulling a few switches would stop the End Of The World from happening. Wow, so little effort for a lot of trouble. They could have saved us the four hour build-up.
