The problem with the Eagles is McNabb, he stinks and nobody wants to say so for fear they'll be repremanded. T.O. was right, favre is a much better quarterback.

Dunno, McNabb has been throwing in the dirt pretty good these last few weeks.

"The Eagles are clearly the worst team in the NFC East with or without TO."

Righto. But now they won't have T.O. to kick around any more and Reid can stop saying 'I have to do a better job' and actually do it.

And often he hits his receivers right in the numbers. Problem is they have different color uniforms than the iggles.

I will neveer forget that play, and our safety (what's his name?) crashing into him. I confess I was happy after it happened.

Owens will usher in the 'true-free-agent' era where he will contract to a different team each week (mostly the Monday night game).

His payment will be based on his offensive plays and will not be allowed to talk to anyone during the game.

Afterwords he can just catch a plane to next weeks stadium and study the next 5 routes he'll need to know.

No team should sign this loser, maybe he'll get a job at Wal-Mart as a greeter.

He'd wind up chasing all the customers away to Target!

I agree to some extent. They were never as good as they have been hyped in Philly, but they were at least competent. This season it's like a totally different team. It's actually bewildering to see the difference. In all but perhaps two games, the Eagles haven't even shown up until the second half. It's almost like they don't practice or look at tapes and spend the entire first half seeing what the other team is doing. The defense simply cannot adapt, as was seen in the game against the Broncos when they faced 5, 6 or 7 man offensive lines. And the utter abandonment of the running game is simply a gift to the opposing team since they only have to prepare a defense against the passing game.

I havent watched a game this year. I cant bear to watch. Saw all this coming for quite a while now and when Farve goes that will free up lots of funds for more players I suspect.

Sherman doesn't have the fire in his belly. Can't fire up his players. He's the France of the NFL.
