Am I missing something or are the Muslim riots in Europe largely a result of the same kind of socialist, multiculuralist policies that the Democrat leadership is attempting to foist on America? When will the Democrat leadership learn that appeasement to terrorism only emboldens the terrorists? When will they learn that their anti-America antics of late only adds fuel to the spreading fires? When will they learn that continuing to falsely accuse the president of "manipulating prewar intelligence" will only prolong the war and directly cause the deaths of many more of our servicemen and women and countless more deaths or maiming of innocent civilians caught in terrorist attacks?
The Democrats' desperate attempts at gaining political advantage, regardless of the cost in human lives, is disgraceful and treasonous. When will they learn that partisan politics ends at the water's edge? I pray that the American people can see through their vicious campaign of lies and partisan propaganda and will vote accordingly in the next elections.
We must ensure that America does not burn with Europe. It's way past time for Reid, Kennedy, Schumer, Howard, Pelosi, et al, to sit-down and shut-up! You're either with us or with the terrorists.

I think the dems understand all of these things - but they don't give a r@ts @ss, politics; and the quest for power, trumps everything.
To paraphrase a Frenchman, the Democrats are scum!
Since this nightly rioting seems to be spreading it should be interesting to see how other countries deal with the situation.

Jim, let's also not forget the laws France has on the books to "pertekt French Jahbs" making it impossible to fire someone and keeping young people from entering the labor force.
They used to know it but they've obviously forgotten.
I guess it has something to do with the new Democrat philosophy of no longer being proud of the country and, to some extent, even hating it.
OPINION: Generally speaking, the dims (aka DnC types) seem to be marching to the same tune as other anti-American individuals, groups and organizations.

They learned this in our own universities, and have consistently applied their learned, revolutionary mindset in word and deed ever since.
So, it's no accident, I'm sad to conclude.

The dems long for an America that closely resembles France (with themselves in charge, of course!).
Their behavior can only be described as treasonous. That so many Americans support these people politically is truly frightening. It's amazing what a few years of public school and 4 years of exposure to marxist university professors can accomplish!!
Smearing the opposition and regaining power are the only things the dems only objectives.
Honesty, patriotism, respect and civility are traits they've lost along the way
I believe they have already chosen the terrorists.
A review of just about any democrat based website reveals far more energy poured out at the "evils" of president Bush than toward the very real and very totalitarian threat of terrorism. Michael Moore tells us there is no terrorist threat...in doing so he is really echoing the mindset of democrats.

What needs to be done is for someone to tell them to shut up, we need the president to "bully" them from the large pulpit he can command. That is why this is happening, there is a power vacuum in the American system, and until it is filled, the American haters will get lots of press time.
That has everything to do with it.
France imported (let them come in for sole purpose) cheap labor. This cheap labor just happens to be Muslim.
Now, their protectionist laws are coming home to roost.
