I concur with your opinion of the importance of Hayek's work- I personally consider TRTS the most important book written during the twentieth century. However, Readers' Digest is not what it once was, and I'm doubtful that they'll take you up on your proposition.

I don't mind the effort, and sadly, not a RD reader myself, you may be 100% correct.

The NYT's was once a patriotic rag itself!

Boy ain't that the truth...

As a kid...I enjoyed reading R.D. Hadn't read one in years...

Picked a copy up the other day...and sped read much of it.

Bunch of P.C. left-leaning trash, IMO.
