I once told someone my son was a Marine and he almost came to tears and described the Marines as the greatest fighting force the world has ever known.
This guy was a Navy Pilot,Astronaut, and Doctor named Jerry Linenger.

He know what he was talking about, Happy Birthday Marines.

Happy BirthDay Marines from a former Marine. Semper Fi

We are very cooperative except when it is detrimental to our health and well being, then we use our methods.

“It’s simple,” Kelley said. “A superbly trained and motivated Marine, one fortified by 230 years of enviable history and tradition.”

"Therein lies the Corps’ most important asset: the philosophy ingrained within each Marine. Some might call it brainwashing. Best-selling author Tom Clancy referred to it as Marine Corps “magic.”

Congratulations to your nephew! What a day to become a Marine!!!!!!! My last Marine did so on the anniversary of the victory at Iwo Jima.

My 'birthday' gift today will be welcoming two Marines 'home' for the long weekend!! Giving them a taste of home is nothing compared to just being able to be in the same room with them.

God Bless the United States Marine Corps +

"Uncle Sam's Misguided Children...Semper Fi!"

This sounds like inter service rivalery...LOL. Even so, God Bless All of America's Marines because even if that statement is true; when the lead starts flying "Uncle Sam's Misguided Children preform ABOVE and BEYOND the Call. Happy Birthday to them All and God Bless America that they Protect.
