I'd say the good half better get to work.
With the mullahs in power, the Persian people did this at great risk to themselves and their families.
The government of Iran is representative of the alien ideology of Islam, with Sharia, that has done everything in its power to stamp out the culture descended from the ancient kings of Persia who allowed the Israeli deportees to return and take up residence in Israel (as a vassal state to the Persian Empire).
The Shah of Iran had some dreams of restoring some aspects of that culture, but of course that came to an end with the rise of the Ayatollahs. At least for now.
My ex-girlfriend and her family are part of "the good half." They were out in force during the last election. The problem is that the folks in the rural areas know nothing but their farm and their mosque.
