Still, even if those votes dissappeared, they'd probably demand some sort of "Election Fairness Doctrine". My guess is that the spineless pubbies would give it to them.

How true? Thanks for reading, CB. I appreciate it.

"Uh, FR is based in Fresno, CA"

Why can't California secede from Sacremento, San Francisco, and Los Angeles?- They (Sacrem.,SanFran,LA,) can then declare themselves a seperate planet and leave the rest of us alone.

Not all of Cali is flaming liberal.

Hehe!

That was actually passed by the city. Thanks for reading. I do appreciate it.

Let them go. Let them go.

I'm detecting a bit of animosity toward California. I don't understand how that could happen. I'm in shock.

Then the rest of California—conservative California—could retain its membership in the Union since they actually tend to think like patriotic Americans!

I like this idea. And thanks for reading, Tony. I do appreciate it.

Sacramento—In a bold, yet unexpected move, California has decided to dissolve all ties with the United States of America. It is reported, that on Tuesday, November 15, 2005, the California legislature will vote to secede from the Union.

Oh Please Lord. Let these idiots achieve their their dreams. America would be such a better country without California...as Reagan turns in his grave

California would be Dem heaven, except that it is bankrupt, and anything more than marginal tax increases, would not increase revenues except in the very short run, as businesses flee. Thus the Dems don't have any money to spend, really, except by raiding the federal treasury, and that will require someone other than a Texan not interested in California's fiscal mess, in the white house, to get the money train going. California is less interested in seceding, and in more interested in a federal handout.

California actually receives less Federal money than it pays out. Despite social climate in the state, California remains a vital economic, technological and cultural hub.

Laz, you didn't tell me you were in the vicinity.

I don't know. Ticket fines might double to raise enough money for the new government. Construction on a wall would begin imediately to keep people from entering and exiting California.
