this email was sent to me from my sister, who's son is in Iraq. She is hurting. Please pray for her as well God Bless- JFC
This morning I am so sad. If it were not for my family I do not know what I would do. This morning when I got up I thought about what Micah is going through, sleeping on a cold metal vehicle,being fired upon, and when not, not knowing when his vehicle might blow up under him and his men. I thought about the sand that stings their faces ,makes them feel gritty and never clean but more than anything how is jams their weapons casuing them not to fire.How they are leaving sweetheart, wives, children at home. How there is lack of support from so many in the USA when they are laying their lives on the line and many have willing died with honor. All this and then I see so many people here in school and elsewhere who go about their comfortable lifestyles have never written a letter or mailed a pkg to support our precious Hero's. But it is not just that it is that most people don't even think about them unless they are their family. Negative comments,not supporting our Commander in Chief and our Troups is breaking my heart. It has just came crashing down around me. One of our teachers, so helpfully came in to tell me three Marines were blown up this morning. What do people think they are doing or saying? If that is support I have missed it. I need your prayers, I love you both,Connie

Prayers coming from our house. It is unreal what some people say to those who have loved ones in harms way. Once in a while you know they are saying things just to hurt. I urge everyone to pray for our troops and pray to give these families the strength not to become bitter over what is said by some individuals out there. It would be so much easier just to give up and families need a lot of prayer for strength it is going to take just to endure.

One of the Marines in that blast was local. His mother is shattered, but proud that her son was willing to put his life on the line for the freedom of 24 million people that he did not know, and the safety of his fellow Americans.
My prayers are not just for the fallen, but for the living who will miss them.

God has given us His word to protect us - but it all depends on whether we are willing to trust Him. I have found that when I speak His word in FAITH - I am protected and comforted.
First, a prayer for protection: Isaiah 54:17 - "No weapon formed against 'you' can prosper". [Pray it this way: Thank you Father God that no weapon formed against my child can prosper]
For comfort: Isaiah 41:10 - Do not fear for I am with you. Do not be afraid for I am your God. I will help you. I will strengthen you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. [Pray it this way: Father God I will not fear for I know you are with me. I will not be afraid for You are my God. Thank you Father for helping me. Thank you Father for strengthening me. Thank you Father for upholding me with Your victorious right hand.]
If any two or more agree as touching anything .... When you pray in AGREEMENT WITH GOD'S WORD - you are in agreement with God.

Prayers for the Mom and her son Micah including his troops. Buck up sweetie, there are a lot of us backing our President and praying for our troops. Some of us have walked in shoes similar to his in a different time and place. We're praying for their safety and homecoming.

You know I worry about my kids and I pray every night for you to protect them. One of the ways you answer my prayers is by sending brave soldiers like Micah Adkinson to Iraq. Now his mother, Connie, is worrying about him just like I worry about my kids. Please comfort her and protect her son. Please protect all our men and women who work so hard to keep my family safe. Comfort them. Give them strength. Give them faith. Keep them safe. I ask the same for their loved ones. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
