And .. what people don't realize is that the WTC houses approx 100,000 during a busy day - with meetings and conferences and all offices at capacity.

Plus - the goal was to have the buildings fall over and take several other buildings with it .. making the toll 150,000 or more.

The fact there were only 3000 killed at the WTC - that was just a plain old miracle.

I have never doubted for a moment that the terrorists would continue to target us. I just don't get why the liberals don't get it - because if it's just because it would make GW look good - then the liberals are much more petty than I ever knew.

Amen to that.
I will always remember Tony Blair's statement a day or so after 9-11
(when estimate of loss was 7,000)...
"do you think they'd not have killed 70,000 if they could have?".

And my eyes were opened when I heard that Ramzi Youssef (sp?) (of
the first WTC bombing) explained how the real objective was to
topple the towers onto adjacent buildings to kill 500,000.
