Well put and accurate. They don't realize that it would kill them too.

"A disgrace," declared House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. "The rankest of politics and the absence of any sense of shame," added Rep. Steny Hoyer of Maryland, the No. 2 House Democrat. Ah yes, when the shoe's on the other foot the Dems start moaning and complaining that it "ain't fair." Of course they have no problem when it came to the "Bush Lied About WMDs" B.S.

Next, the GOP should draft a resolution calling for diplomatic relations with Castro. Vote that down and force the RATS to go on the record against their Hollywood commie lovers.
Then, submit a resolution to overturn the protection of marriage act. Force the RATS to go on record against or for gay marriage.
There are all kinds of things you can do this with:
- Raising gas taxes
- Slashing the defense budget
- Mandatory service in Americorps
- Banning all parental notification for abortion
- Forced registration of all firearms
- Outlaw SUVs
This thing could be the gift that keeps on giving.

Unlike McCain, Sam Johnson is a former Vietnam POW with guts, honor, and love of his country!

So, after he called for immediate withdrawal (as reported by the LMSM) Murtha voted against doing so. Ah, the rats came home to roost for him.
Must be the illegitimate father of Kerry, so alike, say one thing, do another.

Two stars were brought to the fore tonight....the soft-spoken but powerful Rep. Sam Johnson, and the new Republican masculine hunk, the Tom Selleck-mustached Cong. Gingrey. Um, Um, good!

Murtha (who was the floor manager for the yes side) brilliantly votes against his own idea. Just goes to show that Democrats would rather have the issue of the war than end it.

My head hurts..they were so disgusted that they voted for the political stunt?????? Yes. They lose either way. If they ahd voted against it, they would be undermining the troops, and it's nonbinding anyway. Furthermore, it would alienate a lot of middle American voters.
OTOH, by voting for it, they simply negate their own complaints about the vote, show themselves for the gutless hypocrites they are, and alienate the Cindy Jihad/Michael Smoore/Code Pinko left that controls the Dimmycrap party.

I think that is a very poor platform to run on, but the Dems have nothing to offer. A sham platform from a sham party populated with shameless bureaucrats.

'And McCain doesn't love his country because...?'
Good question. After what he's been through, you think he would.

Rep. Steny Hoyer of Maryland, the No. 2 House Democrat. Around Maryland, he's known as Steny Horror. What an empty suit he is. In fact, empty would fill the suit better than Steny.

Fair warning.
You just might find yourself among a large group of dedicated patriots pissing on a grave in the dead of night.
What separates us from our enemies is our nominal civility.
We refuse to openly piss on the graves of our enemies in the presence of their family.
Out of respect for the the family, not due to any respect for the departed.
That is why Jimmy Carter will have a special "environmentally sensitive" grave site.
So many people have sworn an oath to piss on his grave, that his staff is having problems negotiating a burial site on CONUS.
