From the moonbats at the Campus Antiwar Network:

ENDORSED BY: Cindy Sheehan, Pablo Paredes, war resister; Camilo Mejia, war resister; David Airhart, Iraq War vet and Kent State student facing expulsion for peaceful counter-recruitment; Tariq Khan, George Mason University student assaulted for peaceful counter-recruitment; Charles Peterson, Holyoke Community College student assaulted for peaceful counter-recruitment; Traprock Peace Center; Peninsula Raging Grannies; David Swanson, co-founder of AfterDowningStreet.org; Anthony Arnove, editor, Iraq Under Siege and co-editor with Howard Zinn, Voices of a People's History of the United States

* Say No to the Solomon Amendment!

Campus Anti-War Network is calling for actions around the country to show the federal government that they cannot intimidate schools for kicking out military recruiters. On December 6, the Supreme Court will hear the FAIR v Rumsfeld case (brought by several universities), which will decide whether schools can ban military recruiters wihout losing federal funding. Currently, the Solomon Amendment allows the government to cut off federal funding from schools that ban military recruiters. This policy forces schools to accept military recruitment, even though the military's anti-gay "don't ask, don't tell" policy violates university anti-discrimination policies.

* Bring the movement for COLLEGE NOT COMBAT to a recruiting station near you!

On Dec 6, when the Supreme Court hears FAIR v Rumsfeld, students will hold protests at military recruiting stations across the country, including in San Francisco, Seattle, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York City, and many other cities. In Washington, D.C., a press conference and demonstration will take place outside the Supreme Court.

This action comes amid increasing revelations of the horror of the Iraq occupation. Recent video footage shows that the US used chemical weapons (white phosphorus) in Fallujah, laying bare the lies about "weapons of mass destruction." Occupation is not liberation. On December 6, we refuse to let the military recruit young people to kill and die in a war based on lies.

December 6 is also the one-year anniversary of Navy petty officer Pablo Paredes' refusal to board his ship in protest of the war, which sparked a national campaign that displayed and strengthened the growing refusal of soldiers to fight this war. Recently, the counter-recruitment movement won a victory in San Francisco, where 60 percent of voters approved a proposition to oppose military recruiters in schools and support scholarships to counteract the poverty draft, which targets the poor, and people of color.

Let's mobilize on Dec 6 to counter the military's ability to wage its illegal war and to support the right of universities to oppose military recruiting on their campuses.

Say No to the Solomon Amendment! COLLEGE NOT COMBAT! TROOPS OUT NOW!

The left is at it again! They are planning a anti-Recruitment protest on December 6th at 2 PM on Library Mall. They will then proceed to the Recruiter station on U.Square or the ROTC office on the Western part of campus.

We will confront the lefties with patriotic, pro-troop, and anti-left signs. We will also defend the recruiter station like last time.

This is happening all across the country, as it is being coordinated by the Campus Antiwar Network

What an motley group of people who are going to be at that protest. I Googled their names and this is what I found...

Cindy Sheehan: everyone knows she is the one shitting on her son's memory.

Pablo Paredes, war resister: Joined the Navy at 18 "just to put food on the table" but never realized that he would be involved if we were attacked and a war broke out. He refused to board a ship headed for Iraq.

Camilo Mejia, war resister: Came home from Iraq for a 2-week furlough and never returned. He was sentenced to 1 year in prison.

David Airhart, Iraq War vet and Kent State student facing expulsion for peaceful counter-recruitment: Claims he was in Iraq "for 6 months, starting at the beginning of the war in March 2003", but was charged with speeding at Kent State on July 24, 2003. His "Peacful protest" that he is in trouble for consisted of climbing a "climbing wall" then he disconnected himself from the safety rope to hang a sign. He was charged by city police for abusing the climbing wall.

Tariq Khan, George Mason University student assaulted for peaceful counter-recruitment: He was passing out literature next to a military recruiter's table without a permit and wearing a sign that said "Recruiters Lie, Don't Be Deceived" When he was asked to leave he refused and was arrested. A computer-lab staff member had to assist in his aprehension. Khan was a speaker at the 2005 Northeast Socialist Conference.

Charles Peterson, Holyoke Community College student assaulted for peaceful counter-recruitment: He was part of a group of students doing "whatever it takes to kick military recruiters off campus" (from their flyer handed out the day before). A riot took place with students ripping literature as well as throwing away informative disks. While a policeman was trying to apprehend one of the rioters, Peterson grabbed that officer's arm bruising it. Peterson was pepper sprayed and asked never to return to campus for this. The college later caved to left wing groups demands and let him back on campus.

David Swanson: Press Secretary for Kucinich Campaign Organization. Also co-founder of AfterDowningStreet.org which is calling for the impeachment of president Bush.

Other co-founders of AfterDowningStreet.org include John Bonifaz (Democrat running for Massachusetts Secretary of State), Tim Carpenter (Executive Director of Progressive Democrats of America)Steve Cobble (Strategist for the Kucinich Campaign Organization, former Political Director of the National Rainbow Coalition, a speechwriter for Jesse Jackson, and served as a strategic advisor to Ralph Nader in his 2000 campaign) and Bob Fertik (a veteran Democratic consultant and co-founder of Democrats.com)

Anthony Arnove: At a debate on the Iraqi resistance at the 2005 Left Forum in New York he spoke in support of the Iraqi resistance.

That is all I found for now. I hope it helps you in some way.
